Product Description

The 40A solid state relay has the following specifications Load Voltage 24 - 380V
A load current of 40A is required
The voltage input range is 3 to 32 volts
Diameter of the threads on the mounting bracket for heat sinks (approx. The following are the unit values for ) The length of the blade is 5cm. Measures 19 inches
The total size of the heat sink is about (approx. I) 10 x 8. Nine x four is equal to nine and four. It is 9 cm / 3 inches. The size of this box is 1" by 1". The 9" x 1" sticker is available in multiple sizes. The size (L * W * T) of this device is 9"

Questions & Answers

A powder coating oven with three 3600 watt elements would be suitable. How many of these relays do I need for 240v?

You asked three questions, so let me answer them There would be a requirement for three 40DA solid-state drives There are relays for each state.

Can you tell me if this is a ssr or not?

A voltage is applied to the dc output and the switch closes to complete the circuit when a voltage is applied to the dc low voltage side.

Although it works, it seems a bit sketchy in quality
3/5

Visit Digi-Research sites if you want to know more Key, you can find solid state relays in the $50 price There is a $5 price listed on the Inkbird site (where they can be purchased directly) http//www. inkbird. com/products/ssr?variant=13851338047551. The price is $59, and shipping is free! This begs the question of where they cut corners in order to sell them for ten times as much as traditional SSRs. In my limited testing so far, I've tested it with a 250W load, about two amps, and it seems to work fine. When the voltage was that low, the voltage drop was zero. The fan was attached to a heat sink, so the temperature stayed fairly cool (it was at 98VAC). It will be used to power an oven, about 15 amps, so we'll see how well it can handle that. I am not happy with the build quality of the vehicle There is oozing RTV in some places, the terminals are uneven (some are higher than others), and the terminals show some corrosion. I have only found one issue in terms of functionality, and that's how dim the LED is. The first time I tried it I thought it didn't work, but it does, just Thus, I am a little nervous about connecting this to a wall socket, but I will make sure to properly fuse the project so that in the case of a "mishap", I won't blow up my house. Buying these should be done with caution as they are not well.

I have been using this tip on my 3D printer for a few months now and it works great
5/5

We have a "Solid" relay here! I've been using it on my 3D printer for a few months now and it's been working great. This is what I use to control my 120V bed, and it works perfectly. Is easy to wire and does not get warm at all. br>The bed has a 300x300 silicon pad that holds 750 watts. The heat sink isn't even being used when the load is that high.

Unfortunately, I was unable to use these for the project that I was working on
3/5

As relays were more suitable for the project I had planned to use these for, I didn't use them. It is possible that I might use them for a lower current circuit in the near future. The heatsink was designed by someone who either didn't know much about thermodynamics or cared very little about it. If heat is to make it to the upper fins, it has to pass through a thin cross section first. This will reduce heat flow, so the heatsink will be ineffective.

Both of the two I bought were defective
3/5

Both of the two I bought were defective. It was unconnected on the dc side, with 110 volts still passing, and there was no way to disconnect the current on the ac side. Although the LED indicator was LED would light despite 10 volts applied to the dc side using the right polarity, I thought perhaps these were normally closed and tried applying 10 volts to the dc side.

I really like your Note they worked perfectly for a continuous compressor load of 7 amps (high peak starting current) When forced air cooling is not used, the heatsink is only sufficient to handle 10 to 15 amps continuous load

I worked for a Creality CR10 S5 AC heated bed company
5/5

This is mounted on the upper side of my upgraded bed heater power supply for my CR10 S5. As part of my upgrade, I installed new fans in the control box and installed a stand that featured a Raspberry Pi on a stand with a 12v Noctua fan powered by the Pi's USB ports. In Octoprint, I never notice a spike in the temperature of my Pi because the exhaust from the case is never warm. This is the only fake I have found that is working for me. I was worried about fakes, but this one is working well.

As of now, it appears to be working
4/5

I am satisfied with the overall outcome. This device may have the means to handle 40A, but I don't need it for a load of more than 25A. In some cases, I deliberately oversized it, based on YouTube videos that claimed some sources were under-reported The construction of As such, it is not possible to say one way or another. After being ON for several minutes, the device & the monitor have both displayed black screens. In the middle of a mid-60s day, the ambient temperature is still under 100F on the heatsink. A 3V signal from the controller can be used to switch.

Tempering Oven - I use it to make knives
5/5

I built a unit to regulate the temperature of the oven. The items I've purchased from Inkbird have all worked well for me. I was able to deal with the huge variety of temperatures I was experiencing without spending a lot of money. As well as the SSR and the heat sink, I purchased the I have no issues with any of them. This book is highly recommended.
