Taco HLP-2 Hot-Link Plus System, Smart Control 3/4" MNPT and 3/4" FNPT Half-Unions

It's not a good engineering job. It was a bad engineering decision! While I have instant hot water, I have lost the cold water. If I open cold water, what I get is warm water. I need to drain about a gallon before I get cold water. This is what they call water saving, isn't it?.

January 2016 was the date for the installation of the smart control unit. Several of the valves were purchased from Amazon while the unit was purchased from another source. There are two sinks located about 40' apart from the hotwater heater in two different directions. This is what I installed There should be a link between both valves. There is a side that is very fast at getting hot water. Kitchen, on the other hand, is not too It is warm in the kitchen when the cold water is cold and warm when the hot water is hot. The unit makes a lot of noise, which is a bigger problem. I heard it alone, and it was loud. Although the pipe runs through the house, the sound carries because it is connected to the water lines. The smart thing detects when you turn on hot water during the night, and for at least a week it comes on for two hours around that time.
I emailed the customer support to find out what was going on, but I never heard back. In order to keep it from running during the night, I finally replaced it with a timer. As a result of Pump installation was done by the plumber. Pass valve installation was easy, and I hired a plumber for design and installation of the pump. The system has been started and is waiting. Despite this, the pump was still 'learning' at 3AM two weeks later.
As far as I can tell, the problem is In this area (FL), the houses are plumbed with CPVC, and there is only a short section (about 18 inches) of pipe accessible before it enters a wall. It takes the sensor a long time to perceive a temperature change in CPVC pipe. In the manual, or on the website, there is NOTHING that explains what the problem is You can find information regarding this issue in this guide! A timer for my appliance was installed after I emailed customer support several times. My third option would likely have been to install the Taco Genie and add a remote control if I was aware of this problem.

I had a working unit for a while, but the timer A replacement control module could not be found. The cold side of the tap has some very warm water coming out of it. My impression is not good.

Installation of the device occurred while I was standing on my feet. Everything went perfectly according to plan with LinkPlus. In the kitchen, there had been varying degrees of improvement concerning hot water. Luckily, I was the first to take a shower the following day and not my mother, who was 93 at the time.
