There are two components. However, the terminals at the end of the connector are a bit short it doesn't seem to fit well.

Guitar Hero World Tour guitar switches replacements for the originals

Guitar Hero World Tour guitars with broken up or down strum switches can be fixed with these switches. My favorite feature of these switches is that they are quieter than the stock switches. In addition to being very high quality and less expensive than the ones sold by Amazon specifically for guitars, these are very good deals on Amazon. There are not indications of what models the others are, so I don't know what brand they are.
