I'm not sure what decibel rating you're referring to. It isn't a particularly loud noise. It will be lost in the midst of loud machinery and other distractions.
X1 is a plus, X2 is a minus.

it is not mentioned in the description It appeals to my tastes. wanted a flashing red light with an audible alarm that could be mounted in a steel enclosure (22mm) and took 120 VAC directly. It's perfect! It's not too loud, which may or may not be a good thing depending on your needs. It would be nice if the volume could be adjusted, but they make no such claim. In the open air (hanging from wires), the noise level was only about 80 dBA. With various experimental mounting configurations, you can probably make it louder or softer. With light and sound combined, the duty cycle is approximately 1 second ON / 1 second OFF. I'm using it to notify me when the garage door is open - over the course of a configurable 24-hour period (e. g. The alarm will sound if the (attached garage) garage door is left open between 10 p. m. and 6 a. m. I created a 0-to-1 scale that can be adjusted. 60-minute entry/exit delay with "timing now" light and "snooze" button to avoid setting it off if you arrive late or leave early. In addition, if the external passenger door opens during the clock's armed time, the alarm will sound immediately. I've had the garage door stay open all night on several occasions, and the passenger door has blown open in the middle of the night because someone forgot to close it. It irritates me a lot. I'm mostly concerned about the wide range of animals that will invade if given the chance. It will be installed near the garage door that is closest to the house. When it's fairly quiet, I can hear the alarm from anywhere inside, according to a quick test. Do you prefer to sleep or watch TV? When it goes off in the garage, it doesn't bother anyone unless they're close by. I wouldn't have had to buy this and all the other parts if someone had made something similar, but I couldn't find anything simple. Thanks!.
