I'm not sure what you're referring to when you say "none show."
These LEDs are rated for a maximum forward current of 15 mA, according to the manufacturer (Alpinetech) on their website. A nominal forward resistance in the device of 1 is implied by a voltage rating of 24 V. 6 KΩ.
If the voltage is 24 volts, then yes. It's all about the voltage.

I purchased two of these 24v DC/AC LEDs to use as indicators with my garden irrigation system, which uses 24v AC valves to activate the sprinkler zones. I verified that the power to the valves was 24 volts AC, which meant that they should have worked perfectly with these lights. br>br>First and foremost, when I tested it out of the box, one of the two lights did not work. I opened it because I didn't want to wait for a replacement and discovered that the resistor wire had not been soldered to the LED post! I was able to easily fix this with my soldering iron. When both lights were connected to a 12v DC car battery at this point, they worked. br>br>After that, I proceeded to install them in the sprinkler control box. When I turned on the system, the lights worked for about a minute before blowing both of them out! br>br>I've come to the conclusion that these lights aren't designed to operate at 24 volts AC. br>br>Given my negative experience, I strongly advise you to avoid purchasing them unless you need them for a 12v DC application, in which case they appeared to work fine.
The LED's glow is just bright enough to see that we have mail but not so bright that it interferes with our nighttime TV viewing on the adjacent wall. For me, this was a very cost-effective solution because it didn't require any additional resistors or diodes to work.
The price is reasonable, and I was concerned about the quality, but after receiving it, I am pleased. I suggested Alpinetech because the supplier's tech provided a quick response to a technical question. The item is of excellent quality, and the after-sales service is excellent.
When the light is turned on, it does not become hot.
Shipped quickly, was well-packaged, and arrived on time. It was ready to use right out of the box (as it should be).
There are no resistors required because it is bright and green.
The chrome bezel is something I really like. It gives the impression of a high-end installation rather than a low-cost one.
