I'm not sure if they're truly waterproof, but I wouldn't hesitate to wash my dash with a soapy mitt and rinse it with a garden hose once they're installed.

I'd have to look for precise measurements, but the cylinder behind the panel (chrome and stub to which wire is attached) is about 1 inch in diameter, maybe a little less. br>I couldn't find any pictures that were good for measuring depth, but it appears to be around 2".

When I was looking for an oil pressure indicator light for my 1973 Ford F100, I came across these. I placed an order for one, had it installed, and have been very pleased with it. It was so tidy that the other solid-color indicator lights I'd previously installed looked shabby in comparison. Then I added a charge warning light, fan indicator lights, and a high beam indicator light to my order. Again, everything appeared to be in order, but something wasn't quite right. More lights, I reasoned, would be beneficial. As a result, I placed an additional order, which included a turn indicator and a brake warning. I have about 12 of these lights on my dash at this point, which is way too many, but I couldn't help myself. I'm half-tempted to order a check engine light just for the sake of amusement, but that would be absurd, right? One is unnecessary for me. There's nowhere to connect it to make it work the way it's supposed to. But I'm pretty sure I'll do it because it'll be super clean. br>br>In a nutshell, they're nice and they look great. Just keep in mind that if you buy one, you might end up with a lot more, and you'll be left scratching your head as to why.
I originally purchased the key indicators (turn, high beam, low fuel) for a custom dash project, but the quality was so good that I decided to add two more that I had reservations about (battery charge indicator and seat belts). These are going to be fantastic, and they'll look great next to my custom gauges. I'm using polished stainless pieces (also available in black), which look great with chrome gauge bezels. br> The lights are bright enough to be used during the day. I'm hoping they're actually dimmer. friendly, because the question on that subject elicited a range of responses (I'll update once I have more information). br> I did come across one review that included a photo of a messed-up-looking person. image of a gas station on the way up That's a pity - Hopefully, the supplier will be able to replace it without difficulty. Every one of mine is flawless - no flaws.
Considering the low price, I was blown away by the quality of these items. br>Allowed me to create a modern instrument panel for my 41 International pickup for a very low cost. br>I'm very pleased with my purchase.

This was installed on a tractor with no glow plug light. In noisy environments, it's much easier to see than it is to hear the relay click. It appears to be reasonably durable and water resistant, which is exactly what I was looking for.
I ended up using it to house an incandescent light bulb. This was for a 1966 Volkswagen Beetle, and I replaced the speedometer with one that didn't have a generator bulb. The quality of the housing is excellent. Much better than I had anticipated.
GREEN TURN arrow - Well-made, arrived ahead of schedule, is made of metal rather than plastic, and is extremely bright and visible in direct sunlight. It was well worth the money.
I replaced the cheap plastic one in my Factory Five Roadster with these. They work perfectly and fit into the existing dash hole.
