Questions & Answers

Could this possibly work with studs with a center distance of 18" or 24"?

There will be no problem fitting it between 18" and 24" studs.

The tilt looks like this how would you do that? Which should I turn? A knob, a lever, or a screw? What happens if it stays ?

Tilting the TV out or in can be achieved by unscrewing the knob at the top. Ensure that the knob is tightened once you have reached the desired position.

In the event the lag screws are used instead of concrete anchors in dry wall, is there any harm in using four lag screws in two studs?

With four lags inserted into two studs, the anchors are completely useless, as the aforementioned load will not reach them and therefore are a complete waste. Using a stud finder, I found the center of the stud and that's all I did. three TVs in my house using this method and have never been subject to any Furthermore, I am not an expert, which is why I bought a good stud finder from HD ($50). Besides detecting electricity, water pipes, in walls, etc., it can be used for other purposes as well.

Do you know if this mount works with a 37" ?

As far as Amazon's product specs are concerned, this should fit as expected.

Selected User Reviews For MonoPrice Tilting HDTV Wall Mount Bracket

It's the best tilt mount I've ever used! It's amazing how awesome the mount is! The mount is 32 inches wide, very sturdy, and has a large area around it where you can mount it I used 6 1/4in lag screws from Lowe's and two anchor screws in the middle to fix it to the wall
5/5

Despite being 200 pounds, the mount did not even move when I pressed my weight on it. There's a really great angle feature on this camera and it's easy to adjust the angle since you can screw the knobs up or down to set the angle. I have purchased Monoprice mounts, HDMI, Ethernet, USB, and other cables and items directly from Monoprice and they have excellent customer service and quality items. If you read the other review the customer says that the wall mount sticks out on the back of the TV. You can read the dimensions on the box and realize that it's 32 inches long and 8 inches wide. If your TV is this small, it would most likely stick out because it is only nine inches wide. It wouldn't be worth it to use this mount on that TV anyway. Currently, I have a 55inch Samsung 4k tv hooked up to it and feel that such a setup could easily handle a 70 inch or even larger monitor. There is no reason for you to.

There is no doubt about it the Monoprice HDTV mounts are the best
5/5

They are solidly constructed, reasonably priced, and simply the best you can get. In the past I purchased a Cheetah mounting bracket and returned it because I simply did not feel comfortable mounting a $1000+ HDTV on a bracket that consists of two pieces of metal and screws as opposed to the Monoprice bracket which consists of metal and screws. As far as this product is concerned, it is solid, and this is my second purchase. Compared to the first one which was for a 48" Panasonic, this one will accommodate a 60".

Product ranges from monoprice to any price I like
4/5

As I love monoprice products, I have a slight bias. A 55" Sony 4K television that I purchased above my fireplace will hang from this bracket.

Out of the box, this mount is great. You can be very independent with it The instructions are very clear and the installation process is extremely simple. There is only one reason I give it four stars the quality of the hardware. They seemed cheap when it comes to the screws that go into the wall and into the studs. It seems to me that this is the most crucial fastener for attaching a television to a A muscled and heavy item would have been more appealing to me. As for the other hardware (hardware that is bolted into the television), it was of A great feature of tilting is the ability to adjust the angle of view. Apart from that, it is a fantastic mount.

This mount is very powerful
5/5

It is a very strong mount for the wall. Installs in a few minutes. I found that I had no problem fastening it to the wall studs with all the slots. This is not a low profile mount, the TV will stick out a couple of inches from the wall when fully closed (no tilt). The program worked well on my old Sharp 37" monitor, and I'm sure it would be even better on a 42" monitor.

I recommend it for people over 40 unless they don't mind seeing the It was imperative that the TV bracket didn't match my wall color, so I searched for an alternative that wasn't black
3/5

My Samsung 32"
TV arrived in good time and I was excited to take it off the floor, only to discover the bracket is just too big to fit well on the rear of the TV. There are 2 inches of bracket peeking out at the top and I hate it. I am disappointed. Go ahead and look at the brackets if you can stand them. I based my purchase on the advertised 32" TV size (not sure if this was my fault for not checking the bracket size) It got to a point where I didn't want to see brackets but the hassle of packing and sending it back was too much to handle so I got a friend to saw 2' inches each end (pain I know) and now it fits perfectly on the So in reality the bracket is approximately 36 inches long, which means it should fit a 40-inch television, not a 32-inch.

This tilt mount works well for 55" LCD televisions and is reasonably priced
5/5

I bought it to wall mount my TV, which is a 55" LG LED. In theory, this mount was perfect for me because I only needed a slight tilt rather than a full-action mount. I spent almost an hour getting the mounting straight and to my liking, but I think someone who is accustomed to these sorts of things might have been able to do it in half an hour. I bought this mount for an affordable price and I was not disappointed. I bought the matching Monoprice HDMI cables as well, and they have been as solid as any for such a low.

I really like the wall mounting
5/5

The software installed without a problem - thank you There is no weird sagging after two months of usage, which I have noticed with other products while investigating. I will buy another Monoprice when the time is right. Here's how it looks with a 64" plasma mounted on it.
