I got this off of Ebay for about half the price of a brand name. It's well made and looks great. They fit my surface grinder perfectly and do a very good job.

As described, it does not accept a 3/4" thick wheel

There were only two threads protruding from this nut for my 3/4" wheel. When installed, it only protrudes two threads from the wheel. This is not a safe or adequate solution. The wheel does not have to be more than 1/2" in diameter.

Although the taper was sloppy, it was good enough for the price. I paid 13 Dollars, but have noticed that the price has gone up quite a bit since then.

I have a Boyer taper that fits my machine The Schultz 612 came out As good as the factory adapter, this adapter is well-made and is as durable as it should be. I have only one complaint, and it's a small one. The threaded section that is used to remove the rim is Even if you can use a standard removal tool to remove the adapter or tool, you should make one with a better fit in order to prevent permanent damage to the threads.
