My Kawasaki ninja ex250 (2006) had a stripped spark plug, so I used this to repair it. The image is only a representation of the product; however, it worked perfectly for me.
In the kit, you'll find a special tap. (The tap isn't marked with a dimensional size.)
The M10X1 will require a 13/32" drill bit. The drill bit size to use is clearly etched on the tap by the manufacturer!
The helicoils measure about 7/8" in length.

Kit appears to be good; I've seen some complaints about the plastic parts, but I don't think they're an issue; in some cases, such as spark plug repairs, it's a little tricky getting the heli coil in the perfect position, but once you do, you can torque the bolt/plug down and the coil (without thread locker) stays in place.
This kit appears to be difficult to come by. On VWs with 10mm glow plugs, this is pretty much the only way to repair the cylinder head threads.
Dirt bike crake case that has been ruined. I could have saved $60 by simply purchasing a larger bolt, but I'm sure I won't be getting a refund. CHINA PRODUCES HELICOIL. GARBAGE.
I believe the original holes were M10X1 and it appears to work fine. However, there are 25 and this one. The 0 kit thread was finer. I'm glad they sent a lot of coils/springs because I went through about five before I felt confident in my installation. Because my holes were too small, I had to cut a significant portion of the springs before installing them; I'm glad this product exists! Thanks.
Other brands provide more for a lower price. My tap has been damaged and is no longer cutting effectively. I purchased another kit from a different manufacturer and used it a few times with no issues.
Product is excellent, and the seller is exceptional. If you know how to use it properly, this product is fantastic. Because the cylinder head wasn't entirely clear, I broke the first insert tool. Doh! If possible, test on a different device before completing the installation. Overall, if you're mechanically inclined, you'll find it simple to use. A lot of it comes down to how you feel.
They made a design change. The plastic guide that comes with this tool is awful. I've installed a lot of helicoils in my time, so this isn't my first rodeo. I tried several times and the tab broke almost every time, so I had to drill it out and replace it with a bushing after wasting my money on this.
