I just used this tool to cut a 1/2 x 13 thread the other day. This is an excellent tool for me. It was also reasonably priced. It took some time for it to arrive. However, it was well worth the effort. It. It is far superior to what I had anticipated. It was a perfect fit for the Grizzly tool holder.
I didn't care for it at first, but then I discovered that you don't have to remove the ceramic holder; instead, you simply place the insert on top of it. It was a great way to make 1 1/4-pound of meat. Thread count: 12.
The tool's cutter bit shattered, but the replacements were excellent, cutting stainless steel quite well. These are something I'd buy again.
The inserts are by far the worst I've ever used. If you make more than one attempt, you will be penalized. 002 to . At a depth of cut of 003, the insert will shatter like glass. The threading inserts I usually use don't have any issues with. 020 to . On the same machine and with the same material, a 030 depth of cut was achieved. The part is being ruined by these underpants.
