In jaws, how far apart are the bolt holes?

The center-to-center spacing is four inches. An aside: If you can't find the right spacing, it's not hard to drill and tap new holes in your vise. It was necessary for me to do so.

The jaws of my Hilton vise are 5 3/4" wide. Any ideas on how to fix the holes that are 3 inches apart? Can't seem to find a suitable replacement?

It appears that this is a widespread issue. I'll probably make a wooden replacement for my broken jaw insert out of hardwood at some point in the future. I think I'd just buy a new vise if I really needed metal inserts, like the Yost 455 5. 5" is only about 80 bucks on Amazon, and I've seen positive reviews on YouTube, and it appears to be just as good as my Wilton vise.

Wrong part: Jaws' holes do not line up with the vise's holes, and they are not evenly spaced across the width

Although the product is well-made, the screwholes in the vice do not match, necessitating reaming of the screw holes in order to install the jaws

Fit and functionality are both excellent. One jaw was perfectly machined, while the other appeared to be half-finished but functioned. Although the shipping was not excellent, it arrived within three days. I am pleased with my purchase.
