There are many tools from Kenmetal and other premium brands. These are just As a user of them quite a bit, I find them to be of excellent The 149 comes with seven 3/4 inch tools. I think you can get a great deal on 00. purchased inserts at a cost of under $50 for 10 of each (total of 40). Amount $1. 00). My experience with machine tools is extensive. I recommend these to my customers.

This is a great kit for beginners, home shops, and professional setups

It is also a great kit for students like me. I was impressed with the quality of the tooling, nothing to complain about. Despite that, I can only give 4 stars since spare inserts are not provided. A wcmt32 was in use. Quite a few of my 51 broke due to severely rusted and pitted bar stock (about and I received 150 of bad outer material) we must use at school and was unable to use it since there were no spares with it. If you could buy replacement inserts in packs of 5 rather than the 10 pack (student on a tight budget), that would be great. The rest of the time, they aren't a problem. The company is a definite recommendation. My favorite aspect is the positive rake, but that is my personal.
