This is a really useful I made a special mount to easily drill holes in my travel trailer frame. All I had to do was set it on a piece of steel plate and it was ready to drill. This saved me so much time and effort. Any drill bit in the range of recommended sizes can be used with this tool, so I save so much time drilling. In the storage box, one of the hinges had been broken. As you can see from the picture, I had Amazon send me another one, but it was the same thing, so I gave up. It is also peeling off its sticker and label before I even plug it in for the first time.

The tool itself, however, works well and if you are planning on drilling smaller than 3/8 like me, you will need to clamp the front down. As they would need an item like 1/2 inch plate to really get 2800 lbs of force, I have a feeling that will be the case with any mag drill. A 2 has been used up to this point With the 5 inch bit, I was able to drill 1/8 inch tube with no problems. As usual, I used drill oil and took my time, but the hole was drilled without any issues. In my opinion, I wouldn't go any bigger than that since that is already very close to not having much clearance for chips to clear. Other disadvantages are not enough depth is the stroke is only 2 inches or so, so depending on what you are going to do you can drill those 2 inches and move the whole assembly down so you can achieve It has the ability to do most things you need it to do and for the price, it's a good drill. A warehouse employee sold me these parts for only a quarter of the cost of new, describing their condition as excellent. As soon as I received them, I noticed the 5/8 bit was missing the pilot pin and had some discoloration, as well as feeling less sharp than the others. The original purchaser had a project, didn't use sufficient coolant, returned the bits and went back to the original retailer. It appears to be in good condition, as do the other bits in the set, even though the 9/16 bit still had remnants of "project metal. ". The set will stay and be run as is, but just be prepared for an unexpected situation when purchasing deals from the Amazon warehouse.

It is regularly used by me when I am working in the oilfield. Having coolant on makes a bit of a mess, so I never use it. Instead of shooting straight at the cutter, I shot around five rounds of WD-40. As long as you drill slowly or put backing metal behind the magnet, you can drill 10 gauge if the magnet is strong. It will be interesting to see how the case stands up in court There are 10 days of rain this week. The latches were kind of flimsy in the cold weather. My only wish is that it were made in the U. S. The drill is made in (home of evolution), not china, but it is lightweight and works well compared to the old mag drills I used when I was working with iron.

This Annular Cutters are no different, as I've been impressed with the quality of Evolution's products for a while now. My work piece is a 1-inch cast iron plate and I need to drill a 5/8" hole through it. am in the middle of drilling almost 100 holes for a fixture table I am building, and no matter which hole I drill, the diameter does not vary! A fantastic product at a great price!.

It is easy to install and use. This cutter uses annular cutters and also has a drill chuck as well, which makes it twice as useful. Thus far, I've drilled nearly 100 3/8" holes in 3/4" plate and nearly 300 1/4" holes in 3/4" plate without any problems. I haven't yet used any annular cutters but I don't suspect it will have any problems with those as well.

These were also very good quality. This set of annular cutters is of good quality and cuts very quickly. I use them to fabricate sides and to weld on properties for my customers. Product that I would highly recommend.
