They penetrated brick effortlessly with my hammer drill, and the holes were easily punched.

I spent five minutes trying to drill the first hole and I was able to drill about half as deep as I wanted. There was some sort of damage to the bit A chunk of it appeared to be tying off at the tip, scratched, dull, and ready to disintegrate. As far as I can tell, they are normal bits one might use in woodworking. My only option was to use a masonry drill bit (which was a bit too short but was all I had) and was able In about 1 minute, we dug a 5 foot high hole. This bit has not been damaged.
This is the Milwaukee Magnum 1/2 Inch Hammer drill that I used. There was nothing impressive about the performance. In most cases, these are of no use. They would not be recommended to me in any way. It's a real disappointment for me. I also want to mention that the Tapcon bit is at hole # 60 at the moment and is.
This is complete junk and you should not buy it. The hammer barely passes through half an inch of concrete before spinning like a top with no Now you need to switch into the next bit and you have another 1/2" of depth, so you will need to change out again . . . obviously, if you want to get a single hole beyond 2", you will need the This (and a lot more) is probably the most important. In that case, I was using a hammer drill and all went well. I have drilled hundreds of concrete anchors and TapCon is the best bit I have ever used. My recommendation is to spend one hour with her It will pay off to spend 2 dollars more per bit. There is nothing good about this product. To finish off just one anchor hole, I used all 5 bits for one 3 1/4" hole and all 5 were toast. With the three-quarter inch tapcon 3/16" bit I opened today, I have driven 12 holes so far. Please do not buy this junk after reading this review. I have an incredible beach front lot in Nebraska overlooking an incredible ocean if you do! I told you so! That's what this view has to offer!.
It might have been possible for me to do it with one, but since I have so many, I thought I might as well change it.
Having multiples of them in a package is a good thing since they dull much faster.
I have had good luck with them. They seemed to last quite a bit longer than expected and were reasonably priced.
Concrete is not for use with this tool. It is usually easier to buy Bosch parts from a DIY store. Using these screws for Tapcon screws is a good choice for me. Due to the price and the value of a five pack, I bought these. It takes only a few holes for the tips to blow off. I don't think they would have been suitable for concrete, however cinder blocks or mortar might have worked. I find the size to be untrue as well.
These drill bits were exactly what they said and packaged in a set of five. Most drill bits eventually wear out, especially for concrete, so it's good to have extras.
