Specifies what to do and does so. There are a lot of smaller concrete bits needed for basic anchoring which I have consumed. These bits aren't very long lasting, they require a lot of force to advance into the material, and they often create over sized holes by As a result, I has been surprised when I purchased a new SDS hammer/driver, since these bits have not worn out after a few holes, or after hitting a chunk of aggregate, or after exceeding the hole size. Their ultimate goal was to slice through material like it was.
On our concrete foundation, we used the 1/2"size. To use the bit with my Makita HR2470FT Rotary Hammer drill that I just acquired, I used the drill bit. The concrete looked like cedar wood when it went through it. I did about 15 holes with the bit, and it showed no wear. It is a good idea to get these bits with a good quality rotary hammer drill if you intend to drill a huge amount of concrete.
It took me a while to even use the first pack, even though I bought the two-pack thinking it would last me a while. It has even been lent to someone who abuses them and they still work just fine. My apologies for the misunderstanding.
I have found this product to work well with my SDS Plus Hammer Drill.
It is available in two versions 50 and A 1/2 inch hole drilled 4" deep with the same bit the first day! Wow! This is pretty impressive! My bet is that it still has 50 more.
They are great quality and I had no problems with them.
The only reason I gave it a 4 is because it is a 10 piece set, but nowhere in the review did u mention it has actually only 5 pieces. It seemed to me that the bits were all different sizes.
