The drill bits are intended for use with standard drills. You might be able to use some smaller ones if you have the adjustable chuck attachment, but otherwise they will not fit.
As of now, I've only used them on 3/4 steel ar500, but I haven't used them on 6 1/4 steel ar500. In my experience, however, they worked well for the task I used them for.

My drill was broken and I had to drill out the broken part Having a 12mm hardened bolt up close on my Honda Odyssey, I thought these would be a really hard, cobalt steel bolt and would not wander excessively without center punching. My needs were exactly met by these It was easy to center the drill and keep it in the center of the bolt, even considering the awkward position. The drill entered the hardened M10 bit with relative ease. It was the x bolt which I was The first use of these drill bits has made this investment more than worthwhile, and I now have a whole set at the ready whenever I need something more than the junk drill bits found at the local home improvement.
When you spin it, the pointed end makes a hole. In my case, I needed metric bits. These were the best price on Amazon at the time, no matter what material was used. Cobolt bits are not my favorite because I can't sharpen them, but these are mostly for 3D prints, brass, and aluminum, so I guess I'm not in a rush to buy them This is great news, since I was looking forward metric conversions for a long time.
It is one of the most frustrating experiences I have ever had with drill bits. Despite my low expectations, these failed to live up to them. In order to drill 6 6mm holes through 3/32” stainless steel, I had to drill 6 6mm holes per leg. After barely making the first hole, I decided not to try again. My drill press was set to the correct speed, I had drilled a pilot hole (not the same set), I used cutting oil. There was nothing good about it. My goal was to drill the second hole, so I basically friction drilled it. Four of the remaining five did not occur. These bits are so terrible that there are no words in the English language that can describe them adequately. There is too much credit given to 1 Star. *Click here* *Click here* I don't want to sound negative or angry, nor was I angry when they didn't We couldn't be angry because of their poor performance because it was too puzzling. This is the first time I have heard of drill bits having such poor quality.
Thanks for a great product that is very durable.
Purchasing this product was a good decision.
This is what I purchased because I needed four drills to drill two holes. Make holes of 5 mm in two blocks of aluminum. Because the holes were only a centimeter deep and the metal was relatively soft, I didn't expect too much force to be placed on the bits. For extra caution, I used a stout drill press and lubricant. I also repeatedly backed out to clear A drill bit snapped off inside the fourth hole it was drilled with an adjustable bit. There is a block that needs to be replaced and a drill bit that needs to be purchased. There is no value for money in this game.
I've only used three bits so far but they seem to work fine so.
