It is great to drill. Using it, geese were deterred from nesting by installing a fence around a pond. The drill could penetrate through hard areas even when rock was present, so fence posts could be driven into place without issue. I enjoyed this a lot!.
My intention was to use the hammer drill to drill between the rocks that fouled the jackhammer, and it worked well. There's an easy solution to a frustrating issue.
Drill bits made for hammer drills do not work well with this drill bit. There is always an issue with the screw coming loose after a few seconds. Re-reading my notes is something I have to do constantly Adjust the tension. If you have a rotary hammer drill, it will probably work better. Although there were some issues, I still found it to be useful.
