It works great if you need to drill a 1/4" pilot hole in the back of an 8" stucco wall (and through insulation that would wrap around a hole saw) so that larger hole saws can be lined up from both inside and outside. We were able to drill through the drywall, push it through the insulation, and then drill through the stucco. My 1-inch mark was now located exactly where it needed to be Hole saws measuring 3" are used to make the path for The cost is reasonable and the quality is Bosch. I was able to use it with my 1/2" Makita battery drill that has a standard chuck even though it had an SDS shank.
There are 8 holes and there is no wear on the shirt. My opinion is that you are impressive. With another bit, I started drilling a hole and the carbide tips were GONE before I was halfway through! Wow, I couldn't believe I was wasting $15 on just one more junky piece of plastic. My Bosch bit was bought so I grabbed it and put it to use with feathers and wedges. I was pleasantly surprised by this. I have now made Bosh my one-stop-shop for everything I need.
Due to the land and flute design of the hole, drilling deep concrete holes is easier. There is a slight difference in the size of the flutes on this particular drill bit compared to By using the full length of the bit you are able to reduce turning friction when drilling. Probably 50 or 60 full depth bores have been completed with this bit, and it is still in good shape. That's at least one more I expect I'll get.
The most common thing I use it for is to drill pilot holes through 8-inch tubing In both cases, I will drill from both sides of the 10" concrete walls so I can use larger but shorter core bits. In addition, it is also capable of drilling a 1/4" hole for whatever else you may require. Because it is so small in diameter, it does not take long to drill the.
These drill bits last longer than most and this price is very helpful to my bottom line since they are wearable parts.
My old bit fell just short of reaching the other end of a wall, so I needed a bit that could go through both ends. It's great that you can get through an average wall with this bit. As well as concrete walls, I have used this on drywall. When you have to run wire between walls, this is a great bit to have.
I tried multiple drill bits for blocks and concrete. I spent 30 minutes drilling less than an inch into a solid rock with other bits. It took less than 2 minutes to drill down six inches with this bit. I still have a good bit of sharpness and can drill well with it.
You will need to pay between $28 and $30 For the exact same product, you can pay $35 at a big box hardware store.
