White opaque plastic was what I received on the roll. A transparent panel would allow light to pass through, but you wouldn't be able to see out of it.
A month, yes, but only for a few hours per day. Once it has been used a few times, it breaks down.

While I have not used this as a window cover, if I were going to cover windows I would think about getting something a bit heavier

When you read reviews, you will find out what types of plastic are used. There are now five rolls, and it has become our best slip n slide. The unit is the perfect size for small groups at once. It's easy to clean, to fold and to store and there's enough room for many people. Daen and water just need to be added.
I just ordered three more rolls of it for comparison. a 9'X12' drop cloth and it was shipped the wrong way after it was delayed for a long time in the mail, not because of the company, but because the postal system misplaced it until I had to ask about it. I received paper thin garbage that can't be used for anything and is too expensive to return after waiting a month. Compared to the cheap, thin, and thin-thick ones, these are bigger, thicker, and more reliable. You can use it for a variety of purposes when you purchase. In order to keep my mattresses protected when I move, I will use this to wrap them. The plastic sheeting will also be used to cover my dressers, as I don't know what else I'll do with it. I found this to be easy to unroll, cut, open, and maneuver to where the ice needed A pure tent made from the ceiling down would keep me warm, dry, and give me enough natural light to see outside, and I could even use my iPhone. I kept my laptop with me so I had plenty of light! I'm very satisfied with this plastic. It is big and strong enough to have plenty of space to work, but don't expect it to be transparent as in "window pane" clear. It's not that at all! * * *UPDATE There is no snow and ice and everything is perfectly dry thanks to this plastic. Despite the fact that it was used a lot, it still works wonderfully for whatever purpose I need to use it for. It looks like I will order more ahead of time as well! On June 18th, a commemorative day will be held in New Hampshire As long as I buy this roll of plastic, I can use it to line my trunk in winter or to place things in my car seats when I move them. As a precaution, I have a piece of carpet under the litter box that has mats on top. This one roll of wrapping I have is already cut into small pieces for smaller jobs, so I will need to order at least two more rolls to wrap my mattress and box springs when we move in August.
In spite of the delay, I was able to use the rolls I received for other projects, but I had to order another product for this purpose. While annoying, the delay was not of grave consequence.

I really enjoy working with this plastic, and it is easy to work with and just the right size. However, don't expect it to be as clear as a window pane--it will be slightly opaque. I ordered this in order to use as a thin barrier between shelves and the surrounding Surely, it would have been the perfect material for the project, but we chose thin plywood instead. As a rule, this seems to be of a much higher quality than I expected, so I am now using it as a shelf divider. There is a liner under all 1020 trays that gets watered regularly. According to our expectations, it creates a barrier that is impermeable. This material makes a good drop cloth and can be used as a surface to paint over. There is plenty of stock left over to be used for many more purposes and I ordered more to keep.
I was very disappointed to find out that it said clear but was translucent white, and that the white had a lot of weight to it. I had to use it after waiting three It will not be my first purchase from them. Not happy with them not being able to write a simple, detailed description.
When I work on my car, I use this sheeting to protect my floor. This bag is fairly wide, and you get plenty of space in it. Even though the plastic is very thin, I have yet to experience any problems with it failing or tearing as I have The majority of the time I lay it on the ground to catch the splashing of water. But occasionally I roll the creeper over it or drag it out from under the car with a heavy container on top. It's a good value for money and I'd be willing to buy another bag if I needed to.
To cover the lower half of my duck pen in the winter, I purchased this product. Using staples, I had to staple one side down again after an especially intense storm, but aside from that, it's holding up and keeps the harsh winter winds from making it into the pen (and keeping a significant amount of snow out). You can buy this for a fraction of what you would pay.
