It's black and white in the one I got (and thought I ordered).
The self-adhesive backing on the sign board makes it simple to mount.
My zodiac sign is a little different. There is a man in it. It has a female on it who says restroom, and it is on a bathroom door that is not exposed to light except from a ceiling light. The paint does not have a glow to it. You could use a reflective paint to cover it up.
When I removed the sign, the adhesive did not remove any of the laxtex paint that was applied to dry wall and a metal door.

The sign itself was quite nice, but it appeared that some effort had been made to clean it up after it was removed from the package. removing some excess paint from another defect that had resulted in a dull, whitish smeared area on the black sign surface I was given a refund and was able to purchase a similar replacement.
The image says "Restroom" (singular), but I got a "Restrooms" sign, which I can't use because I only have one in my retail store. I kept it up, but it only lasted a day before falling down. It fell off again after I re-stuck it! It'll end up in the trash.

Because of the contrasting colors, it is well-made and attracts the eye. It has braille on it, which is difficult to see in this photograph. It comes with mounting adhesive strips. We hung this next to the guest bathroom in our house because it's amusing and attractive.
I host hospitality exchanges on CouchSurfing and AirBNB on a regular basis. Because the guest bathroom is not an ensuite, guests frequently have trouble remembering which door leads to it. That is no longer the case! Everything is in order now that I have placed this sign on the guest bathroom door. Amazon deserves credit for having *everything* in its product database.
For a one-hole wonderbox water closet, this is an outstanding designation. It's very industrial, and it's made with little love or creativity, so everyone will recognize it. Because of the rounded edges, it is easier to feel for the brail - It's a nice touch, to put it that way. The 3M sticky knock-on effect is something I'm expecting. offs on the back that will last a long time (but I can't say how long yet). Maybe they sent me three instead of one because they don't have any?.
