The following materials were used to make a new motor mount for my 1985 Toyota MR2 (AW11). In the end, all I had to do was cut out the old rubber and burn the remnants off with a torch, tape up one side, place the metal core in the middle, and pour this caulk into the empty spaces. In order for it to cure properly, I allowed it to sit for a week after 24 hours. I then put it on my car once it got a little softer. My other motor mounts were a bit loose, so I used the mount to fill in the gaps. It has held up very well as a transmission mount. I've had no problems so far, and the engine and transmission do not tilt around anymore. I feel much more responsive to the throttle now. This product is the kind of thing I would use for all sorts of things where I need a flexible material that adheres but is also strong enough not to break or crack. I have renamed this to # 221 since the tube has an expiration date of within 3 weeks. After reviewing my options and seeing what I could accomplish, I decided to go ahead with the solar panel installation. When I opened the tube, I found it to be of great quality and adhered well to the surface. The CAMPERA I have is made of fiberglass, so I used 3M VHB tape in order to install RENOGY MOUNTING brackets, which required me to use the SIKAFLX to protect the tape from the elements. Overall, it has been a good start!.
