My knowledge of dips is vast I have dipped three cars and many Most of the time, I just grab cans from Lowe's to use for wheels. Earlier today I sprayed four matte black cans onto the wheels after buying other items on Amazon. I also needed a couple of extra matte black cans, so I put those in my cart. Wheels were assigned to each of the cans. Lowe's had two cans in the garage that I already had. Those two cans that I ordered from Amazon were the other two. The fact that Amazon seems to buy cheap batches or store them outside in the elements is unknown to me. The spraying was not done properly, however. As soon as it was taken out of the can, the dip was thick and streaky. As with every other can of dip I have used, I didn't get a nice, fine fan spray like I was used to. I received both Amazon cans in the same condition. As soon as they arrived, I didn't use them right away. I kept them in the same cabinet with the rest of my paint for more than 24 hours, so they weren't too warm or too cold during the dip. Prior to using, I also shook the cans to take out all the debris. It is baffled me that the quality is so poor. In particular, since it's the same dip I buy at Lowe's. I will never buy dip from Amazon again since the risk is too great. To ensure a smooth finish, you need to ensure the dip sprays consistently.

My entire car was dipped the other day, and it only took the whole project one day (Honda Accord coupe). If you are wondering how many cans I used, I purchased 14 cans, but only ended up using 11. You should strongly consider using a paint can trigger in case you are using these to dip an area (the interior of a car, for example). I'm going to fix the paint on my trunk until I get some more cash in order to deal with some rough spots on the paint. It's pretty cool to see matte black.

This product works well for sealing foam and getting it ready for painting. I created a Halloween costume with it and EVA foam this year. My dry time was much shorter than stated on the can, so that was helpful. I applied two layers and it was good to go. Unless you're just starting out with this (like I was), get yourself a respirator if you intend to use it. It didn't bother me, I could spray or hold my breath, even wear a filmsy mask. I read the same warning and thought I would be OK. might not feel the effects the same day but you will in time. This stuff isn't to be taken lightly.

Plasti-Dry has been my go-to product for years I've used it on other projects and have gotten mixed results, but it seems to be the best option when it comes to making a remote control a little stickier. It recently occurred to me that I recently purchased a universal remote control and that its back was VERY smooth, almost It's easy to let the remote slip out of my hand while I'm searching for something to watch if my hand relaxes for a moment. It only took me 30 minutes between coats for this remote to be coated with four coats (per the instructions). It's important to move the bottle with some alacrity (been waiting a year to use that word) so the liquid rubber doesn't pool up on the surface and look amateurish.
