Questions & Answers

Can the product be stored in its container for a long period of time? In the event I purchase a five gallon bucket, can I reuse the leftovers in a few years once I reseal it?

I know that the Ole sealer has the ability to last easily for five or more years on the shelf. Please make sure the closure is tight and that frozen air cannot get into it. br>The technical support team at Glaze N Seal would like to thank you.

My saltillo tile has a previous finish, but I see different opinions as to whether it needs to be removed before using this product. Does the manufacturer have anything to say about it?

Please note that as long as the previous acrylic sealer is adhered well, I recommend that this can be done. You do not have to strip the old sealer off. We recommend that if the old sealer was a solvent based acrylic, then you should either use a solvent sealer like our Wet Look Lacquer sealer or strip it off before applying the Ole sealer, which is water based. In the case that the tile has a floor polish or wax on its surface, then you would want to strip that off with a heavy duty cleaner such as Glaze N Seal Heavy Duty before sealing it with It is never a good idea to sandwich wax or polish between coats of sealant. br>The technical support team at Glaze N Seal would like to thank you.

This product may be used as a topcoat on a manganese saltillo kitchen floor that has been factory sealed by its ?

I think it is always best to stick with the same type of sealer that is on your Saltillo tile. You might want to check with the manufacture of your tile to find out if the preservative has already been added to it. A water base or solvent base seal was used. The base should be a water base If you would like to seal, we recommend It would be necessary for you to apply at least 2 Ideally, you want to apply three thin coats of the grout in order to ensure the latter will repel oil, stain, and water. In the case of a In the case of sealing products with solvent bases, our Wet Look Lacquer sealer would be recommended. Depending on the surface, we recommend a finishing coat of either our High Gloss Acrylic Floor Polish or Matte Finish Floor Polish to finish off and maintain each of these sealers. Cleaning with our Neutral Cleaner should be done on a daily basis. The cleaner will do a great job at cleaning, but will not remove the We thank you for your interest in glazing and sealing products, Glaze N Seal technical support

What if the sealer is wet? Will this make the floor slippery? I do not want that to happen. ?

I don't know. -I used it to decorate the interior of my home Tiles made of Mexican clay. There are never any puddles in them. Because the sealer penetrates the surface, it is unlikely that it will. However, the amount of penetration will be determined by what you're There is a good chance that it won't be slippery if it is a stone.

It makes the floor appear shiny, wet, and slippery at the same time
5/5

One year after we installed Saltillo tiles in our patio, our patio had this sealer applied. We are far more satisfied with this brand than the first one used by our contractor. I liked the ease with which I could apply the sealant. The sealing agent was spread by Hubby using a mop with a cloth attached at the end. We only needed to wait 30 minutes or so for the first layer to dry before we applied the next. There is no need to replace tiles Even if they get wet from rain, they will be slippery. Here is a photo of the final project after two coats of tile sealer have been applied. I highly recommend this book!.

You have to buy this! It appeared that the terracotta tiles on my patio were dry, dirty, and dusty

After I scrubbed the tiles with bleach and a Deck brush from Lowe's, I wiped them dry. After letting dry, apply using a pump sprayer (such as this is used for insecticides). I was able to touch the dried surface in less than an hour. My second coat used the sprayer with a sponge mop, which allowed the tiles to be evenly coated. With approximately two bottles, an area measuring approximately 20ft x 8ft could be covered This coat has been applied three times. It is necessary to apply a heavier coat in some areas, so I've ordered another bottle. I used to use a wax to wax my hardwood floors, which is apparent in the glaze. This product is excellent. I'm very pleased with it.

As with , we hope it holds up well. In our rental, we used this to seal the Saltillo tiles in the kitchen. A couple of light coats rolled on with a paint roller and nap and you have a gorgeous paint job. The design looks good and we hope it will last.

I like how it looks Tiles made of Mexican terra cotta were coated 4 times

It is effective and reliable. Don't try to cover the entire floor in just one coat unless the floor has been well maintained. The floor I was using it on hadn't been treated since 30 years ago. In any event, it brought life back to the dreadlocks. I like how it looks.

The entryway in our front yard is made out of unglazed Saltillo. We spent a lot of time researching and visiting brick-and-mortar stores As far as brick-and-mortar stores were concerned, only Glaze was available On Amazon, you can purchase Seal Ole Mexican Tile Sealer. Applying it with a brush was easy A quick drying process took place We applied three coats and had a clear, shiny investment after three coats.
