I'm a professional contractor, and this is a tough product, so I wouldn't rely on it as an adhesive, despite the fact that it may act like one.

When drying, there is a terrible odor

It took a long time to dry, which surprised me. The odor was also nearly unbearable after application. In the spring, I'm hoping it'll come off easily.

I needed a little bit of caulk around my newly-renovated bathroom the other day. For the bathroom ceiling fan, a new vent was installed. An unopened ancestor to this item (SKU WL7701010 mfg. ) was discovered in my basement. On September 12, 2005, Imagine my surprise when I opened it up and found it to be in perfect working order after 14 days. It will take five years for it to reach its goal.

On a commercial fishing and crabbing boat in Florida, it works fantastically! It's fantastic! I use it above the waterline on my commercial fishing and crabbing boat; it seals well, is paintable, and stands up to the elements! It would probably work fine below the water line, but until I do more research, I'll stick with the 3Ms 5200 for those jobs!
