Since I haven't tested this product myself, I can't really comment on how well it will perform at 200C or 392 F.
Most painted surfaces can be sealed with silicone sealants without a problem. How well the paint adheres to the painted surface will be the weakest point. Before sealing, make sure that the surfaces are thoroughly cleaned by wiping them with rubbing alcohol to remove any dust, oil, etc. As well as painted surfaces, I have used this product.

It was used to call my stainless steel sink to my Make sure that the tube is kneeled prior to use so it can be mixed. I am very pleased with the outcome. There is no indication that I caulked it at all! It is perfectly suited to fit in with this caulking's metal look!.
We bought this to go between dark gray tiles with a bath tub in between. This product has a wonderful silver metallic color and a very convenient squeeze tube.
You cannot massage the 2 until you have massaged the 1. It will come out runny and clear if you press it really hard on the 8 FL OZ tube. As soon as I figured out what was wrong, it came out grey and much My stainless steel hood fan vent filled with this silicone, and its color blended nicely with the steel. I've used various GE caulks successfully in the past. You should receive it as soon as possible, but don't be hurried.
I had to order it online because silver was not available in our local stores. This silicone was as good as any other I've used, and needed it for stainless steel projects.
I love it! It is great as kitchen backsplash grout for peel and stick metallic.
