I used a razor to remove old caulk. You might want to consider ordering a razor holder from It is 5" long, the razor has blades that screw into place, and there are extra blades included. This is a much better alternative to the plastic widgets. Slide the razor gently but firmly along the top of the old caulk, then repeat along the bottom of the caulk. I found this method to be the easiest. Clean the surface and make sure it is a non ammonia window cleaner on the windows and wipe them. When not a professional, use a gloved finger to smooth sealant line. Watch a few videos to learn the proper way to do it. In a Youtube video, I saw a woman who was unattractive.
As long as the layers are nice, unified, and spread evenly across the cracks, it should be adequate. How big the cracks are will determine how long you have to wait! Even if it is just for touch up, it is sufficient. However, I would suggest using one tube for this particular task.
Glossy is not the right word to describe it. There are a lot of finishes for caulk, so it's kind of like that. There's no reason not to buy it, so I wouldn't discourage you from doing so. I have never used a better caulk. The tacky nature of this material makes it tough to work with and you have to move fast. As soon as water is in contact with it, it simply beads up. There is no doubt that it is waterproof. The quality of the product was so good, that I am purchasing more to complete another project. Please accept my sincerest thanks for your assistance.

I got a little freaked out by you, Ge! My order of Almond Silicone sealant has been shipped. When I first saw the product, I thought it was clear silicone, since I had cut the tip. I don't know what I'm talking about! Having decided to return the product, I decide to test the clear on some cardboard to see if it turns almond (a longshot, Once I squeeze out about a quarter of a bottle of silicone, the color changes to There seems to be just some clear silicone on top of these tubes. Can you explain? I don't know what happened but the product worked You can provide a warning on your product that the first few drops may not be the right color so that people won't get frustrated.
After I began the restoration project, I removed all the old caulk, cleaned and taped off the area, let a little bit of the new caulk out to test it, and it is clear, not almond in color. In case I was mistaken, I squeezed out six inches. The tube has a paper label indicating it's almond, but when you look under it at the tube itself, the text says "clear. ". This does not please me. I need to put on my mask and go to Lowe's first before I can use the shower.
The stuff on this site is awesome! I can't tell you how pleased I am with it. Do your best to work carefully & efficiently You need to use this stuff quickly since it is tacky and not like Wipe it off right away with a damp cloth if you get it on something. The system works perfectly after it has been set up. There is no water on it but beads You can tell it's well waxed by the way it shines! What an amazing piece of work. There haven't been any problems, either, like with silicones in the past. The surface appears to be free of small holes or gaps, or You can count on me to buy again and I've recommended it to all my friends.
Car caulk was packaged in almond packaging, but I thought it was asking for The silicone turned out to be clear. A sticker says clear, but there is an almond tag attached, so I thought that it was really a clear tube that had been given the color. Painting is just like that. Nevertheless, I was wrong in every way, I was completely wrong all along. It has been a year since I bought this tube, and I just got around to using it The caulking in my bathroom is in need of replacement. Due to my own fault, I do not have the option of a refund.
A breakage appears to have occurred on the product. This is a product that I have purchased from Home Depot for My intention was to save a trip to the store by ordering it on Amazon. However, I regret doing so. There appears to be a problem with the silicone, but I'm not sure if it's an old stock or what. It comes out of the tube in two parts a clear goo and almond-colored lumps. It is garbage and will be returned to the sender.
To make working with the product easier, add hot water. It makes a better water shield when used along with grout in the shower. There was no need to wait 24 hours for the paint Within a few hours, we were able to take a shower.
It has been a long time since I have been so disappointed by a product. After finishing my bathroom completely, I was impatiently waiting for the finished product to appear. It finally did and I was able to finish it in the bathroom. Following the instructions, I cut the tip the recommended 45 degrees, attempted to reach halfway down the tub, and things just blew out. I spent several hours cleaning it off me as well as my newly painted walls and my brand new floor. Breaths of deep, black smoke.
After pushing out the clear portion of the caulking, the remaining amount of white caulking stuck to my hands. I still used it since it is supposed to turn to almond as it gets dirty, but BEWARE if you are hoping to receive what you ordered. There was some sort of error with the batch, or the label was misleading.
