Do you scrape it off like regular caulk to remove it? This is something I'd like to use to finish the edges of a countertop stove. ?

You do, after all. It's what I use to keep my glass inserts in my carousel fireplace in place. I've tried others, but nothing compares to this in terms of holding and removing items.

Will this keep the lid of a glass teapot closed and watertight? Is there a way to keep rain from entering the house (other than through the spout hole)?

It's what we use to keep the glass pieces on our carousel fireplace from shattering. It completely seals the space. It's the best we've found so far.

Is the dried product flexible enough to close the gap between the bottom of a blender and a plastic cup? Is creating a seal too difficult?

When it's dry, yes, it's pliable.

I was unable to locate black silicone similar to this in my area. I was relieved to find it on Amazon. After I accidentally punctured a piece of black textured vinyl door trim on one of my cars, I used it to repair it. This was extremely effective!.
