In the past, I used 3M silicone sealants, but recently they have not worked as well for me. There may be a reason why 3M's products seem cheapened since they were sold to a different conglomerate or it may just be my imagination that they used to be highly regarded. In order to replace the 3M tape I used after it failed within a few months (including discoloration), I tried the Loctite tape and was very pleased with it. As a result, it has much better adhesion than the 3M silicone and is simpler to clean. Was Loctite able to hire those scientists because 3M laid off their talented scientists? have not had a chance to learn about Loctite's long term durability, but its longevity is far greater than that of thing that is worth pointing out is the fact that Loctite sealant shrinks a little as it dries. Be sure to apply at least moderate amounts of bead when drying it will crack. In my view, this is not a significant concern since it is easy to avoid, but is something to be aware of.
I searched and googled online for a solution and used GE caulking from Lowe's as it claimed anti mold. It was not easy to remove the old GE caulking so I had to replace it with loctite. Loctite worked well and I have since been able to keep my shower mold-free. I will not use any other caulk.
We used this product in our I like the caulk because the tube is pliable, and I don't have to stand on it in order to get it.
For small areas, this is the best I have ever used. This solution is ideal for small spaces, as it does not require a cock gun. While setting, holds trim in place.
I was able to use it after 24 hours. It was sticky for a couple of days, then it turned to great. My recommendation for this product is strong.
Is providing the caulking around the kitchen sink and bathtub that it was intended to perform. I have been applying it in layers slowly. Applying a fresh coat after letting it dry. This product is available in either.
Calking this goat was the simplest thing I have ever done. It is easy to guide the tube with your finger and smooth it out. The calk gun does not need to be fiddled with.
It looks brand new in the bathroom!.
