I have consistently found it useful to adhere a variety of materials to it. This is a great product that is worth the price. This is the first time I've tried this liquid nail, since I've previously used it to repair items. A part of the sole of my shoes had come loose and I needed it reattached. As far as my shoes are concerned, this product works well. In the future, my inexpensive Walmart shoes will lose their soles from the upper body of the shoe. I use this product to prevent this from happening. It works like a charm when I clean the shoes, apply the nail polish, put weight on top of the shoes and let them dry for 24 hours. I have used liquid nails on my shoes two times in the past two years, and they work so well I am able to extend their lifespan by at least two more years. If you are going to use this product for this purpose, I highly recommend it. While I have not used it for other types of repair, my intention is to do so in the future.
