These are fantastic little motors with ultra-low noise levels. quiet. BUT IT IS ESSENTIAL TO READ THE DOCUMENTATION ON THIS PAGE CAREFULLY. They have a score of 5 out of 5 stars. Steppers are usually powered by 12V, but they can also be powered by 4V. If you connect these to a 12v power source, they will stutter and stagger, which will make you unhappy. They're quiet and smooth when connected to 5 volts. br>br>Also, mine came with a nice little sheet with all of the pertinent information, so I'm not sure why some people are complaining about not having any documents.
With this stepper, there are no issues. It's relatively quiet, smooth, and does exactly what it should.
The X axis was moving backwards. The X axis stepper's bearings appeared to be broken. br>This unit was a direct replacement, with the exception that the original servo plug may need to be attached to the cable's end. Solidoodle 4 is running on an ATMega RAMPS1.
This is a peaceful place. I despise the pre-installed wiring - NEMA14 steppers, on the other hand, aren't available in six-foot lengths. pin connectors are no longer in use. What the hell is going on here?.
There is no documentation available. I've looked on the internet but can't seem to find anything useful. It appears to be functional. It's connected to an Arduino, which I'm using to control it.
