How Our Score Is Calculated

Product Description

Its low viscosity and good fluidity make it an effective quick setting resin. Rapid prototyping can be used to create functional parts rapid, and it reduces printing time.
With excellent stiffness and toughness, ELEGOO UV resin is specially designed to reduce volume shrinkage during the photocuring process, in order to achieve a more smooth surface with higher graphical resolution for print models in 3D printing.
The 3D printer is not only compatible with ELEGOO's 3D printer series but can be used for 3D printing with most DLP/LCD resin printers as well. The LCD 3D printers work best with this product.
Each 3D model is printed using ELEGOO 3D resin, which is developed with high-quality pigments and photoinitializers, so it will come out with an amazing color display, like a painting.
In order to ensure safe transportation and storage, ELEGOO 405nm resin has developed leak-proof bottle, special bubble bag and strong paper boxes. In the shipping process, ELEGOO resin is packaged in multiple ways to prevent leaks.

You may still have a swan in sight even if it looks like a duck
5/5

Many people are unaware of what ABS stands for In comparison with regular resin, LIKE (imagine "like" being bolded and underlined) resin does and does not do. There is less brittleness and flexibility, but it still has a resinous consistency. I have ordered the Elagoo standard as well as the ABS-equipped model I had the chance to compare resins as well. The use of a belt clip is not necessarily a fair test, so I decided to take seriously the test of a belt clip printed in beige, grey, and ABS Gray is just like that. It was easy to snap the beige and crush it without much effort, but it was harder to snap and crush the grey. As reported by ABC News When grey snapped, it bent almost 90 degrees from the light and required the use of pliers to break it. As long as resin snaps and crushes and is far easier to work with than PLA, there is no reason to abandon this material. Taking the details into account is another important aspect. A little bit of detail is sacrificed with each upgrade in strength. It is here where an ABS comes into play The advantages of resin over PLA can be significant. It is going to be standard grey that will give you the best balance. For those who are willing to sacrifice an almost insignificant amount of detail in exchange for extra strength, ABS-types are the most desirable Like is going to be the best option. Additionally, the price for this particular brand is significantly lower than others. When I realized how much I was spending on resin, my first week of printing was with Anycubic resin. I decided to use Elagoo after extensive research. Not only have I switched to Elagoo, but have also bought extra vats to reduce the need for cleaning between colors. You get a lot better quality without paying a lot. It may have been the features that led me to purchase the Anycubic printer, but I rely exclusively on.

Some minor curing issues, but more durable than the basic Elegoo 3D Rapid Resin
4/5

So, after using the basic resin, I felt I needed something a little more robust to use on most A little more money (approximately $10 more for the same volume) means you have a more durable cured product that is a bit more flexible. However, it does appear that the basic settings (35 seconds for base layer, 2 minutes for top layer) don't require as much curing time as the advanced settings. (For subsequent shots, I would like to use a 5 second exposure), so I've worked with them a little. I find 60/5 to be the best balance of power and weight With the FEV film I notice a higher level of adhesion than the 3D Rapid Resin. Depending on how I arrange the objects for printing, I sometimes have to yank the objects away from the support contact point and keep them attached But overall, this resin has been more satisfying to work with, particularly when working on thin Having said that, let's talk about my curing issues. Even after washing for 10 minutes (90% alcohol wash, with agitator) and putting them on a UV turntable for 10 minutes, they still feel kind of tacky. The same print set that I was going to cure in the machine I cured in the sun instead. I don't know if the UV lamp I used was too weak or if the uv lamp wasn't letting it cure long enough, but natural daylight helped a lot. It is a little inconvenient, but not so much that I would not recommend it.

I am still learning, so I may update if things change as I gain.

I have almost never had such a bad experience with a resin
3/5

Every time I try to work with this resin, I have trouble. Another brand in the photo I have never failed to use is the white print. On the same day with Elegoo grey resin, I printed three of them in a row that came out perfect. I printed the exact same file on the very same printer three times in a row. You can tell a lot about an image by looking at it. We switched back to the other brand without changing anything else on the printer, and the print came out perfectly. That makes sense to me now. It is common for me to receive the question, "What are your settings?". In order to get a good print, you have to dial in the settings for every resin. I don't think so. It is not what I do. In this case, I am not going to spend a lot of time trying to dial in the settings for a standard printer and standard resin from the same manufacturer who should have dialed them in for their own product that they sell and make In my photo, there is a white print on the right In all my years of using this software, I've never once had to fiddle made perfect prints every time, even when sometimes I forgot to mix/stir/shake the resin after it sat for days. I even know that sometimes I got a bad print because I didn't mix the resin before printing. Even so, the print came out perfectly. In some cases, my room is dry and warm. There are times when it is The weather can be very humid at times. Even with perfect prints, I still get good results. Since I respect the privacy of this individual, I will not reveal the name here on Elegoo. However, the start of the word is W. Elegoo makes good printers, bottom line. Resins made by these companies are terrible.

It's kind of difficult to print with this stuff, but I love it
4/5

Therefore, I purchased this resin to try and get a more durable print for my miniatures and terrain we use for There is no comparison, by a long shot, between the resin and others I have used. This part is very good to me, but I am having a problem getting the resin to do While being SO friendly, it has become a bit "thick" and sticks to itself even after washing. It is consistently happening to me that fine holes that should be in a mini become clogged by Having said that, for what I am doing it is not a big deal for me, and I am able to easily work around it and achieve the results I am looking for. It may not be an issue for the die hard perfectionists. With my Anycubic Mono, I've tried several different exposure times, but the results are pretty much always the same, so I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong or if this is just how The resin in general has been a pleasure to work with and I have already ordered another batch of the grey color.

This resin fails under Mars Pro, but it performs well when edited
4/5

The resin would never print correctly on a Mars Pro, not a single print without a fail, and I went through the entire bottle of resin trying to calibrate and figure out why the prints weren't working. It is a wonderful resin when it works, and I have had success with it on Mars and Note EDITOR'S NOTE In addition to giving me tips and suggestions for getting the resin to work, Elegoo also offered me suggestions for improving the process. In a timely manner, they did send me a replacement placement bottle to make up for my trouble, and I greatly appreciated it!.

This resin is very nice
5/5

On my Flashforge Photo 8, I was having trouble getting sharp results. I did a print test on the 4K before I noticed that the recommended exposure time of 8 seconds was much too long. I still need to try 2 seconds, but until then 3 to 4 seconds provides enough detail and does not overexpose the resin.
