You won't be able to cast with it. The translucent version of this was my attempt at something similar. During the curing process, cured resin does not transmit UV well, resulting in only a thin layer (a few mm) on the surface of the resin. You may have to change the plastic you're using to form the mold since it gets quite hot during curing.
It has never happened that there was a seal on the bottle opening during the dozens of times I ordered bottles. The plastic bag in which the entire bottle comes should be fine as long as it hasn't been tampered with or ripped open.
Polyurethane is essentially what the resin becomes once it is cured. There is no way that I know of to recycle it, at least not the same way as perhaps filament from an FDM printer can be recycled.

The resin I received is fantastic! In comparison to other resins it doesn't have a strong odor, it's less hazardous (clean up with gloves! ), and doesn't have a strong odor. We had fun creating it (and it turned out beautifully). The resin is, however, very sticky and syrupy in comparison.
Fairly speaking, this is the only resin that I have used, I started with it since I bought an Elegoo brand 3D printer and figured it would be safer to use their brand for the first few bottles. This resin has remained the only one I buy since then. My favorite colors are the grey, white, black, and clear red I have used them all so far and they are all superb. There have been very few failed starts on my prints, and it may not have had anything to do with Among the reasons I have only bought this resin are the following *br* - In my opinion, the low odor is barely noticeable at all, the 90% IPA actually has a stronger odor than the resin, and since I use this in my hobby room I am very concerned about the low odor. Well, not me really, it is what matters to me. [* ] This is neither the cheapest nor the most expensive package out there, so I consider it to be a fair price. I will. - I will attach a few photos to the review to show you how well the prints turned out. I will. - Since I have a good thing going, there is no benefit to messing
So far, the only thing I have noticed with this resin is the following I will. - Prior to printing, it is essential to check the exposure times of the resin, since some of the darker colors can take up to 10 I will. - It is sometimes evident in the final print that the white resin has layer lines. Neither you can feel them nor see them when they are painted. However, when the resin is just bare, they can sometimes be seen. I will. - When you aren't living in an area with copious amounts of sunshine, you may want to purchase a cure light. I'm in the Pacific Northwest, and left a print on the window sill for a week and it still wasn't For most prints, it is done in 5 to 6 minutes under a UV lamp on a turn table. I will update this review if I learn anything else or if I start to see different results.
The following settings will be used to share my settings (something more complex may need more) The thickness of each layer is as follows The exposure time for this shot is seven minutes at 025mm. A 5 second breather followed by 3 seconds of off The bottom exposure time is 90 seconds
Bottom layers are five seconds per layer. The three I've tried so far (none.
I bought before I bought my printer, but not a year prior, just a week before. Everything in the box appeared great. But then I opened it and saw that it was manufactured in 2020 whereas it should have been in 2018. There is a shelf life of 365 days for this item. I assume it will be good We can't open the bottle and I would love to tell you what a great or horribly bad printing job it did, but between me, my husband, our 18-year-old son and our friend that dropped by, none of us could even open the bottle.
Print quality in terms of detail is excellent, but these vary drastically in terms of colors. on translucent print is too much and hard to avoid, but the main issue is that bottom-up prints can warp due to color shifts. When it comes to the translucent, you need to let your prints dry all the way (you can leave them for up to 12 hours) before curing, or they will not curing evenly.
The grey is much easier to work with, has perfect detail, and is just what you would need if you were just going to paint it or make molds from Overall strength is where the translucent seems to be better. If you just remove the support from the grey, you may cause little dimples where the support was, so be extra careful when doing so. *NB* The smell lingers a little too long and is a bit strong, but in all honesty it isn't that bad, and is more like a metallic chemical scent.
The amount of this stuff I use every month is about a liter. It is a reliable work horse. Details print nicely and clean up as well as any other resin, and the smell is a little less bad than other resins. By no means is it better than some other resins but it is better than some. To clean prints and all of the artwork, I used IPA, Denatured Alcohol, and LA's Totally Awesome Degreaser, although I still dipped it in alcohol after the alcohol to ensure the work was free of stickiness. The general Phrozen Grey profile is sufficient for these things, and I use it in my two Phrozens.
I found it very helpful. In this instance, I've printed my very first thing on my Elegoo Mars printer, and it adhered This has a strongly flavored odor that resembles that of play dough. Although the smell doesn't bother me, I have no comparison to think about how strong the fumes are since this is my first time using this type of product. I liked it very much because it was Three hours later, I was able to print my prints simply by loading the file, pouring in the resin, and pressing print. Having gloves on and tons of paper towels on hand helped prevent a messy situation. Though I wouldn't have thought the prints would be strong enough to withstand the jabs with the plastic puddy knife, the prints survived the damage with no chips, cracks, or breaks. In the aftermath of its release, the ball bounced across the table without any As a precaution, I'll place a fluffy rag beneath next time to catch I gave it a second chance after I cleaned it up. In the future, I am planning to print many many more things.
We have used it to print master dice for resin molds, We haven't had any problems with adhesion or curing so far. There is excellent print quality, which allows the viewer to see fine details clearly. As it cures, it does get warm, but that is Gray is a good color to paint over as a base.
