These pads are not made of the same material as the original Makita sanding pads. Despite being made of rubber, it is very lightweight. Flip-flop sandals are made with rubbery material similar to that found in flip-flops. The skin is thin, but very fragile. The product did not hold up over time, so I returned it.

This is a very nice I purchased this to replace the 1/4 sheet palm sander I had from Makita circa 1980

Self-adhesive seems to stick really well, so just be sure to stick it squarely on or if it may prove to be a one-shot The new pad is dense foam, so I'm not sure how long it will last. I replaced the old pad, which looked like a thick wool or felt Although it took a bit of elbow grease and acetone to remove the old pad and its adhesive, I enjoy it immensely. I received it a couple weeks after I ordered it, but the fit and function fit perfectly, and the price is excellent. I love it.

I was pleased with how this turned out. There was a problem with the adhesive. Acetate was used to clean off the old pad and all adhesive. The only problem is As I went back to buy a spare, I found that the price had doubled in just five days from $5. The value of this transaction has gone from $9 No need to keep a spare around if you don't need it.
