Questions & Answers

Are you able to select grits with sharp edges?

No, it says assortment, and the asterisk indicates it's sure. This is 2 of each type of grit

I would like to know what size these pads are. ?

Six inches wide and six inches long.

Is it possible to attach these to a random orbit sander 6 inches in diameter?

If you're buying the 6" type, then I assume you're getting it in white. Hook and loop works fine for me and the 6" Porter Cable orbital sander I use. As a fine finish at the end, I use Abralon for my job and find it to be excellent. I recommend keeping My method of finishing is by spraying water on it and getting a

Can you tell me what grit this is?

Purchasing a kit with two each of 500, 1000, 1500, 2000, 3000, and 4000 proved to be quite costly. It is possible that I will have to purchase some more coarse grits, but that is not a big problem. It is important to keep them clean, and I have learned that it is since I read and experienced this.

Make sure the job gets You can use them for a good, consistent resurfacing of your bowling equipment
3/5

They do not appear to be very durable, and that is the only concern I have. Even though I kept them wet the whole time, after 2 balls they have lost their bite. They will continue to work for probably 4 or 5 more, but if your gear is heavily used you'll burn through these pretty soon. In my case, I use these with a SMART type of kit where you attach the pads to a cup that's rotated by a drill and the ball is set on a spinner that a person can turn. I resurface a ball much more often than if I were to do it by hand, so the pads see a lot more movement than if I did it by hand. Let's keep that in mind.

This bowling ball is great I just received a set of 10 cards in the mail, and all I can say is Although I am a hardware noob, I can tell you these things are quite different from paper-based It's more like a sponge with a very firm consistency
5/5

My guess is that it would take years to wear them out this way. As of today, I've only used 4000 grit to remove the factory polish from my new bowling ball (changes in surface affect behavior on the lane). I was able to do it relatively easily by hand, in 15 minutes and the pad looks like it was barely used. It is barely more difficult to clean it with a cloth than with that fine grit. With 4000+ grit in this set you will be able to back your ball back to its factory finish with no problem (with only 500+ grit in this set you will be able to do it If you buy these once, you won't have to worry about sandpaper for many many years to come.

I consider Mirka Abralon to be the best in the business! According to its description, this does precisely what it says
5/5

It is a great idea to work with Abralon because it holds water It is great if you have a personal spinner at home! That is insane if you have a water line for your spinner! wet sand is that you don't breathe in the dust and it doubles and triples the life of your pads. The foam padding helps hold it in place The finer grits may not last as long as the coarser ones. You get a lot for your money with this package! Starter pack of the best quality!.

It is a wonderful method of getting a glass - Finished in a smooth manner
5/5

The item was demonstrated in a YouTube video, and they are really great when used as the video described. Using a wet sanding technique to prepare a tabletop. To avoid problems, be sure you have applied several coats of varnish (e. g. Polyurethane) so that the pores are completely filled and the surface will not sand through. You should then gently sand, taking care not to catch any edges or sand through them. A careful observation at an angle should be conducted periodically. It is best to wait for the finish to harden completely and cure before you start. When you're finished, rinse it off and dry it.

Buffing and polishing are an essential part of your routine
5/5

It's great that these pads are available With the right application environment, they will last a long time. I have found that compressed air or a quick vac work well to remove grease and to clean up excess particles. In the case of uncured finishes, you are going to have to throw them away almost immediately.

I am pleased with how they have performed so far
5/5

I found this to be the best deal for Abralon pads. I bought this to use with a ball spinner for bowling balls. I am pleased with how they have performed so far. In my experience, this was the best deal for Abralon pad sets that I could find, and it worked exactly as I had anticipated.
