While they should, I recommend polishing very thoroughly and to the highest grit so that the surface is smooth and easily cleaned. The pads need to be moist at all times. It is only a concern if the moisture might cause rust on the actual frets, so be sure to dry the area well afterward and use a fretboard oil (mineral, linseed, or almond oil) if you wish.

The pads are nice for polishing resin and pen kits on a lathe, but it gives me such a headache that there is no way to keep them straight since they are so close in color. The labels on the pads and the labels on the pads are too close together so I can't tell which one I'm using half the time. A brown hue, a tan hue, a black hue, a grey hue, a dark brown hue. As I age, I might just start looking for ones that are better labeled when I need to replace these and tell you which one you are currently According to the label, it might not be a perfect match in terms of color. There is no blue on the guide and one of the guides appears to be blue to me.
The micro mesh pads are excellent, and I've used them for quite some time. As part of this "kit," I received a dispenser (holder), which I thought would be particularly useful. It is quite helpful, as I had thought. The combo package (holder and micromesh pads) is a great value at this price point. (Therefore, it gets 4 stars instead of 5 stars in "easy to use". A) The holder has a label (mesh sequence) only on the right side. To me, it would be better if it were There is no real issue with that (see photo). Please indicate your preference (item). It would be better if both sides were labeled. There are four mounting screws included in the "kit. " There are options for mounting it, and depending on how you wish to do it, there are 2 or 4 options. It is either none, or none in my case. With the help of magnets, I mounted it on the tail - I turned my lathe on my stock. This is the best place to keep these pads, according to me.
It ended up being necessary to write the grit on each pad so they don't get out of order, although the stand keeps them It's a fairly heavy stand- Keeping a vehicle in good condition for years is a duty. In general, the pads work well, but once they've reached the end of their lifespan, they break down These products produce excellent results, and I will continue to purchase them in the future.
There are several other nice sanding/polishing pads available, but they are either ridiculously expensive or totally rubbish. The first thing I thought of when I saw these was The only thing I can hope for is that these are really Then it dawned on me I was 100% correct! I found that they are the right size, thickness, and flexibility for my use, and they are sound. My only problem with it is that it feels gimmicky, and I ended up just laying them out on my desk in rotation. The holder is still a nice touch, and it assures that they will stay secure. Because it can be mounted anywhere, I hung it on the wall so that I would have less clutter on my desk. Because I had to re-install them, I just gave them a small trial run In order to do so, I had to take the strings off one of my pickup grounds. As you can see in the picture, I did the 3 frets in less than 5 minutes using the top 4 grits. Even though I was using my fret guard instead of tape to save time, I got a smooth shine with very little effort. Since it was so clean, the fret guard even looked good! That's never really happened to me, About 20 minutes was the time it took me to do my whole fretboard It will only take 30 minutes! It is worth every penny to own a pad like this! There's nothing better than trying something new, and I hope my DIY, self-taught and professional luthiers come across this review and decide to give these a go. The results and quality are beyond what I could have imagined! Let me now get to the main point of my review, which is what prompted me to write this review. We, at Peachtree Woodworking Supply, Inc. , specialize in woodworking products. The company is one of the last of its kind in this day and age, as there are thousands of other companies, retailers, and distributors that are just trying to push their product as fast as possible. In contrast, Peachtree does not provide this feature. Ultimately, they represent the key element of business that has been long lost and forgotten. I had a great experience with customer service! After nearly two decades of being treated like a valued customer, I almost forgot how it felt. In addition, I felt like they were really caring about the As you can probably imagine, there was an error in the packing of this order from Amazon, as I had only received the galvanized holder, which was not of any significance to me. It was initially my thought, "great, now I have to return this and start over". It has been my experience that most of the time, when you receive a partial shipment, you must return what you have received, have it credited, then you might reorder. It might be over before you order whatever it is that you want. A systemic shortcoming that has caused Amazon shipping mishaps over the past few years. It was then that I saw an instruction sheet from the manufacturer--a nice, well-drawn, easy-to understand document. They also included their contact information and a note that said something to the effect of "if you have any problems with your order, please call us". In minutes, they were able to access my Amazon order, and they didn't hesitate to do what needed to be done to correct this mistake. In no case did I feel as though I had to prove my case or defend myself. This was just an informal exchange, we apologize for the inconvenience, and we will get them out to you as soon as possible. Then I remembered - I felt as if I was in a dream for a moment You're right, of course! Customer service was extended to me while I was a customer! I exchanged a few emails, and a few days later I had my sanding pads, without having to jump through any fiery hoops. In addition to my guitar work, I don't do much woodworking. Peachtree Woodworking Supply Inc. is the place I'm going for supplies. My intention is to confidently purchase whatever I might need without taking any time to compare prices. It's what a business needs to succeed if it wants to provide their customers with real, thoughtful service. Those who are loyal to you instantly promote your business and most of the time are strong promoters. The fact that I am feeling so overwhelmed with happiness over something that used to be a standard in any successful business is so sad. You're all going to be able to spend A classic POS pusher is 99 plastic, generic, and made of plastic The way to do it is this! Take time to think about what you're selling and to whom you're selling it.
In my case, I use a water solution for the pads. Following a couple of times using the pads, the sanding surface started to pull away from them. If the pads are dry, it will be helpful to have a stand. In the event of rain, the pads stick together. In case I won't need them for more than a day, I arrange the dry pads accordingly. As soon as they are wet (water was used when I was sanding with them), I have to hang them out to dry before using the stand.
Does good work, but needs a better one. The frets on my guitars are finished with these, and they work great. I would rate this product 5 stars if each of the pads listed how much grit they contain. When you are using them all on one project, it gets confusing. The metal rack appears to have colors schemed on the side, but it is still hard to differentiate one pad from another.
Two sets of these sanding pads already exist, but they get scattered around, so I decided to get a holder to store them. The pads do not readily slide out when in use, however. The pads did not fit into the holder so I threw the holder onto the floor and stacked the new pads in front of them.
My favorite part of the holder is how convenient it is. It's a little difficult to use the pads because they're so small It might be a good thing or a bad thing for your project, depending on what it is. The shirts also tend to wear pretty quickly Nevertheless, I believe that this is likely due to their small size.
