The gears are not durable at high speeds, but other than that they are good

The rpm was way too high when I used them in a die grinder. For a few minutes, the bristles worked well, but then they Neither impressed me nor was I pleased. It may be easier to use a drill or other tool with a low rotation speed.

In a small area, a small brush will work well

This works great for small areas. To clean around wheel studs when I service brakes, I use it. If you are easy on it, it will hold up well.
