The etching and scratches have been removed. I really like the results of these. faced a countertop that appeared to be permanently damaged by etched travertine, but that expert said it couldn't be In addition to these tools, we used a random orbit polisher (Porter Cable) to remove all scratches from the paint. The first grit I used was 800, then 2000, then 3000, and finally polishing. It brought the look of the counter to a slightly shiner level than a 'honed' look, which was very pleasing. Even if I have continued polishing with them, I don't know if it would have brought the finish to a fully reflective level. According to what I read online, marble powder and a felt pad would be the most effective way to enhance the gloss. The ones I ordered are from Amazon. I am pleased with the result. It is as good as or better than the original installation. There are two warnings in the result.
We are very happy with the result. While using the disks, ensure you have plenty of water on hand. A spray bottle of plain water worked well for me. The second thing you need to do is use a good mask (not the cheap paper ones) when using the marble powder, as the dust is pretty bad for your ability.
This product produces professional results for a fraction of the cost of commercial restoration. Here's some advice As far as I know, I do not have an 5000 RPM) recommended for wet diamond polishing, but I found an awesome Craftsman 10 amp 7" polisher that fits the Stadea 6" hook and loop backing pad with 5/8-inch core. This is the perfect fit for the 11 Arbor. Having been in the market for a polisher that comes with adjustable speeds from 800 RPM to 3000 RPM for 65 cents, I bought this heavy duty model. The price was still a steal and I was able to have 3 older cultured marble countertops refinished and scratched Please note Sears has nothing to do with this tip, just passing it along with your courtesy.
There's plenty of work to be done We do not have any complaints. A nice polish is applied to the sandstone. There's plenty of work to be done There is nothing to complain about. However, I have gone through 2 each of the 100, 200, 400, and 800 grit doing a sandstone shower, and I still Most of the others appear to be in good condition.
As far as the description goes, it's inaccurate We do not include a backing pad with the package. It was quite dirty already since the buffing pad (black) has quite a bit of debris.
It wasn't entirely clear to us how these would polish concrete when we first received them. There is a hard plastic feel to them. Although they worked amazingly well, they were not perfect. To date, I have polished a smaller end table and a large coffee table.
My marble floor has been restored to its previous glossy state, but I did not detect a difference after using all three grits of the pads.
I am happy with the way it performed on cement polishing for which I used it.
My homemade concrete countertops were polished with these tools and a porter cable polisher. A very smooth finish was produced by the product, and it performed exactly as I expected.
