I bought them years ago and there were probably 48 of them. It takes a long time for them to wear out. These larger ones are strong and last for years. I bought them for my cordless drill and they have served me well. I believe it would be a better investment than these.

Since they are a 220 grit, they will remove some scratches from the surface. A matte finish is what they produce instead of a shiny one. The grits you need to purchase, and how you should use them, depend on how shiny you want your work to be.
I have found them to be excellent for polishing my This is an ultrafine grit, and you need to use it at the beginning or you will end up with a brushed surface. The only way I use three at a time is because it seems to make them With this grit, you can remove scratches and rough edges that were caused by deeper scratches. The screws can be a little tricky to put on the first time. I flip them upside down and then place them on the opposite side, so that once you flip them over, the screws will be in the correct position. I have tried most of the grits available so far, but this is probably my favorite so far. This method really helps to get a lot of hair off.

It would be great if you would click yes if that's the case. Neither I nor the seller received a discount for this review. I purchased this product with my own money.

Those of you who make handcrafted jewelry should consider purchasing this item! This does an amazing job polishing my handstamped bracelets. There are two tools you will need a Dremel and a drill.
It cleans the rough edges of ring boxes and chambers them.
This is a good solution. In addition to just two spindles, I'm looking for spindles that allow me to stack at least four together.
These were recommended to me by a friend. My Dremel is used to clean rust and grime from metal pieces, so I use them for that. Based on my experience, I have to stack 3 of them together in order to use them. Given what I use them for, I believe they will last a long time. Since they are abrasive, they will not remove metal (provided that the metal is not too soft), but rather clean it.
They are best used for polishing jewelry prior to buffing, as recommended by the manufacturer. The is used to remove oxidize from silver after stamping after stones are set with epoxy and to clean around stones. On a flex shaft tool, you can get a very smooth surface that becomes high polished immediately after buffing it.
