They have a length of 4 1/2". (approximately four inches and a half)

My grizzly sander can't fit into the 3" and 1 1/2" sleeves. They'll only go halfway on before binding. Is there any way to get them on without them falling off?

I was having a similar issue. I dusted off my spindles and rolled them under my feet on the floor before twisting them on. The 1 1/2" was still a tight fit. Harbor Freight provided me with my sander.

They're great and last a lot longer than I expected. abr> was even employed to keep them clean. I'm not sure if you're supposed to use them for this, but I gently kiss the bar with them and it keeps them cutting shaving w/e for a long time. If you work with things like I do and things get gummed up quickly, this will save you some money as well. br>br>I tried a few sizes and brands, and the Steelex appear to be the best value for money, keeping grit and not tearing up as quickly as other brands I've tried.
