Take the vacuum off the post by pressing the red button on the top. The filter will be exposed after you release the button. Replacing the filter after removing the old one is necessary.
Warm water and a little dish soap are an excellent way to clean them. Reading here was just what I needed as I was about to buy new ones. My "old" one is clean and shiny again after I cleaned it and fished it out of the trash. You can save a lot of money this way!

Filters such as these fit well in my B&W I am currently vaccinated. Since I was using the original filter I got with the vacuum for almost two years, I abuse it heavily in my shop. My old system was clogged and falling apart so I thought a KEEPOW system would be a better alternative. It seems like the suction is a little better than the original, but not like "night & day" Today is "day". In my case, I'll be getting four in a pack to be sure I'll have enough to last as long as I own the vacuum.
There is no comparison between these filters and the Black & Decker filters OEM replacements are good for the money, but not as good as the originals.
