For a number of years, I have owned my Black and Decker handheld vacuum cleaner. This is a workhorse machine. The way I have treated the vacuum was not the way a vacuum should be treated. The pine needles, drywall dust and hound hair left over were not removed. Filters clogged by dust and other contaminants cause this vacuum to malfunction. Previously, I would just soak my original filter in warm water for hours on end whenever I used it. Because my vacuum is so old, the fabric was fraying, etc. I thought I would have to buy a new one because my filter was deteriorating. There are also replacement filters available for this series vacuum, which proves to be the case not only because this series vacuum is very popular. There are no differences between these and the original filter except their looks and fit. Besides a seal, handle, and a cleaning brush, it has some reuse cleaning properties as well. In the meantime, my vacuum cleaner is back to its former level of power, which I am thankful for. I would not recommend buying a new vacuum (of this model) over what my vacuum cost at the time. But why should you replace something that already works? There is no doubt in my mind that these are excellent.
It fits perfectly, and I'm very pleased. However, after using just one, I had to buy more because I stored the device in an area where I could easily locate it. No, I don't know where they are. In order to prevent losing the other ones as well, I have ordered more and may hang them from a nail driven into the back of my front door. If I don't have time to do it, I'll just duct tape them to my TV screen. I wish they had an Emergency Position Rescue Beacon, EPRB, so I can locate them when I put them in a place where I know I can easily find them. They're never going to see me at that place. I should have known better. When you don't lose good filters, you can use them for a long time.
My old OEM version allowed me to maintain suction with fewer filters, but not these new ones (which frequently require replacing). If that makes sense to you, and seems to be possible then I thought so. I'm not sure if that makes any sense, but just the same, if it makes sense to you and seems to be possible.
Having said that, this is a good value and a nice big package. The first time I tried to rinse and reuse it, the result was disappointing.
In this short review, we will focus on the 8- based classes The filters used on our Model No. PFV110 are the pak filters ( PFV110). The HandVac BDH2000PL is a hand vacuum. An ideal choice for cordless hand vacuuming, the BDH2000PL comes equipped with a 20 Volt Lithium Battery. Please take a moment to read the following notes The hand vac (BDH2000PL) is equipped with an adjustable nozzle to enable it to reach in tight spaces. This is normal and is built in to keep the filter clean when you move the nozzle up and down over it. When you move the nozzle up and down it makes a scraping noise as it slides over the filter to remove more dust. This does not mean the filter is the wrong size. There is a possibility these filters can be washed, but we have not yet done so. The best way to accomplish that isn't clear to me. I will try to update if there is a problem. It is easy to clean the filter. Once I've used this new vacuum cleaner for six months to a year, I'll be able to review it more critically. There isn't enough time for us to really evaluate their quality and functionality in one week.
I found these to be very reasonable in price, and they work great! I had been manually cleaning the filter that came with our vacuum, and I finally gave up, thinking that it would be so much easier to simply buy replacement filters when the current one becomes too clogged to be I have found these to be very useful!.
