Bissell Commercial BigGreen BGFS650 Hercules Scrub and Clean Floor Machine, Green

As part of an open-ended purchase, I purchased this Bissell Big Green "Commercial" floor scrubbing machine. Amazon Warehouse deal in a box The box arrived in poor condition, but it appears to contain all of the parts, at least the ones I was interested in. br>br>PROSbr>Machine was fairly simple to assemble; I didn't need the instruction manual at all. Because the machine is so light, it was a breeze to take it out of the box and put together. I went with the tank. I had the old one with the tank before, and I wasn't impressed with it, so I didn't see the point in spending more money for the tank version. All I needed was a simple spray bottle and some cleaning solution. CONSbr>- br>br>- br>br>- br>br>- br>br>- I used it this morning to give the tiles around the house a good scrub, and the machine did a good job scrubbing the floor for the most part. Because of the machine's light weight, there wasn't a lot of download pressure applied to the scrubbing brushes during operation, I'd say for the most part. As a result, cleaning up an extra dirty spot took a little longer for the machine.
- Brushes worked well on flat surfaces, but they struggled to clean the grout between the tiles. I wasn't expecting the machine to do it to begin with, but I secretly hoped it would. That isn't to say it didn't clean some grout; it did, but only in areas of the tile floor where the grout was flush with the surface.
- There's a review on here that talks about the machine's longevity; I'll try to remember to update this post if anything happens in the next few months. I'm happy with my purchase because the floor needed scrubbing and I didn't want to get down on my hands and knees to do it myself. br>br>Overall, I'm pleased with my purchase because the floor needed scrubbing and I didn't want to get down on my hands and knees to do it myself. A drive gear has been removed from the vehicle. I looked for a replacement part but was unsuccessful. I had a conversation with someone from Bissell. Proof of purchase was sent to me via email. There has been no further communication.

br>When I opened the box, I discovered that the scrubber was missing a power switch. This, in my opinion, is a matter of personal safety. br>To avoid the scrubber flipping around uncontrollably, it must be held or set on its side when plugged in. br>When I tried to put the handle together, I discovered that it was too big to fit in the base. br>When I looked at the brushes, I noticed that they were snap off, snap on. The brush and its mount popped off when I tried to do this. It was simple to put on, but it was made entirely of plastic. br>This is a low-cost item that is not worth the money.

Gears have been worn. Plastic-on-metal internal gears. After ten uses, the gears have worn down to the point where the brushes no longer spin. The merchandise is of poor quality.

I was the moron who kept using Mop N Glo to clean her laminate wood floors. My floors were no longer getting clean, and dirt was embedded in the waxy film, which I discovered far too late. I was scrubbing the wax off the floor on my hands and knees, and I hadn't even made it out of the kitchen after about 20 hours. As a result, I purchased this to aid in the speeding up of the process. It did the job and was less painful on my back, but getting the wax off took several attempts. And it'd be fine if the motor didn't overheat after four hours. Use for 5 minutes. I didn't have any problems the first day, but I was working on a hall and had to work in small sections at a time; the next day, waiting for my machine to work again was extremely frustrating. Scrub for 4 minutes and then wait 30 minutes. Our living room took 13 hours to clean, with the majority of that time spent waiting for the machine to finish; in retrospect, I should have hired some professionals with a better machine to strip the wax off my floor. I'm not sorry I bought it, and I understand it's not a high-end machine, but I was disappointed with how quickly it overheated.

This is not a shipping method. The product is good, but Amazon's shipping options aren't so great. Nothing was taped shut in the product box when it was shipped. The box was shattered, and I believe the cord had come loose during shipping. I received small items in large boxes from Amazon, and this was not a wise shipping method. I'm not sure if it was supposed to have an instruction manual or warranty information, but it didn't have either.

I assumed I'd have to pay to have them sanded and refinished by a professional. I reasoned that if I bought it and it worked once, it would be worthwhile, and if it didn't, I wouldn't be out much money. br>br>The floors turned out fantastic after two days and a lot of hard work! They appear to be brand new once more! I had the right product to clean and restore the shine to the floors in addition to the floor scrubber, but they would not have turned out if it hadn't been for the floor scrubber. This floor scrubber comes highly recommended by me. I'm very pleased with my purchase! It actually saved me money in the end!.
