For as long as I can remember, I've had a Kirby in my house, and my mother still has one from the 1970s. I mean, canister vacuums are cool because they allow you to see sadness leave your floors, but nothing beats a Kirby. My husband quickly replaced the old brush, which improved the appearance of the carpet lines. For keeping a good machine running and removing free radicals from your carpets, I give it a ten out of ten recommendation.
This was used to replace an old brush on my Kirby G5 that was installed backwards and was wearing unevenly. br>This replacement brush improved the sweeping ability of my old G5, making it better than it ever was (I got the machine reconditioned second hand 15 years ago) Now it sweeps like a new machine. br>(I replaced the belt at the same time) The brush appears to be very sturdy, and looks like it will last a long time. br>Incidentally, the light that shows that the brush is rotating is finally working, this brush contains the magnet in the correct polarity.
In the year 2004, I bought a Kirby Sentria. It has consistently delivered positive results. However, over the last few months, I've noticed that it isn't picking up dirt as well as it once did. At first, I considered purchasing a new vacuum cleaner. However, I did some research first, and I discovered that, like most motorized items, parts wear out. All I had to do was replace the brush and belt, and my vacuum was as good as new! Although it may seem obvious to some, it never occurred to me that the bristles would wear down (and the belt stretch out) over time. Appears to be an OEM part and less expensive than ordering directly from Kirby.
I replaced the old brush with this new one after about 20 years because it was worn out. It's simple to put on, and I've noticed that it accelerates and runs more smoothly.
This is exactly what I needed to get my Kirby back up and running. Simply ensure that both sides are "set" to the same/proper height. I'll admit that the numbering system on the end pieces is a little confusing at first, but you'll get used to it.
When I noticed the bristles on my roller, I was seriously considering purchasing a new Kirby. They had vanished in some areas, which was incredible. My lifesaver, Amazon, was the first place I looked. I followed the instructions on the website for selecting the appropriate roller. My guitar is an old Kirby G Six. However, it now looks brand new! Only use the micron magic filter bags, if at all possible. They have a significant impact on odor and dust control in the bag.
Everything is in order. I burned through a lot of belts before I realized the previous brush wasn't spinning freely. It makes excellent contact with the ground, and the auto drive feature is now even better. What a fantastic purchase!.
Brush Roller that came from the factory. When did our Kirby start ripping belts and throwing them around? The wood brush had been grooved in the center by the belt and had seen a lot of use. The belt was off center due to the wear groove, causing it to fail prematurely. The problem was resolved thanks to this and a new belt.
