A hinged dirt tray was originally fitted to the sweeper I bought several years ago. The dirt fell out of the sweeper and into the garbage when you squeezed the two clips. As a result, the current "original" sweeper has a solid tray, and the whole thing falls into the garbage with dirt. It's a damn shame Its hinged pole cause a lot of people problems, especially with the second generation sweeper, the red one. Currently, I have a purple sweeper that comes with a hinged dirt tray, and the cover on the tray
Neither the carpet nor the hard floors are used for this product. think it does a pretty good job of capturing most of it, but I don't see the cat hair all the time. The crumbs make it an appealing appliance to me, and it does a good job at it.

About 6 years ago, we visited a restaurant that was closing up for the day after we went there. pulled out this vacuum and started vacuuming the rug and the floor. The water was so clean that we could not believe it. A couple and I we were with went on Amazon after returning home to get this sweeper we've been fans Two to three years after installing the sweeper, you must replace it. You should also get an extra battery so you can keep the vacuum plugged in and you can just switch the battery out and keep cleaning. In addition to having our third sweeper, we are very pleased with it. Especially love how it cleans and picks up dog hair as well as messes that the dog makes in the kitchen.
The front brush does not always stay in place when this sweeper is used, though it generally works fine. As it comes out of its holders, it appears that it may be too short or that the spring that holds it in place is too weak or is not fully extended. The problem can be a bit I charged the battery for over 8 hours before using it. I did what they asked and did not use it until it was charged. Charge appears to last a considerable amount of time. The front brush comes out quite easily and often, along with the box that came with it. I should have returned it for a new one. Unfortunately, I made a mistake.
It's the thing I use every day to pick up all the dust from the hardwood floor. side of the new sweeper has a magnet so you can attach the sweeper so it will be vertical when it's not in use and place it in the corner if not in use. The new model is a huge improvement over the old one as it is very powerful. The battery should not be fully charged for more than eight hours, as it will shorten its life. My oven has a timer, so I always remember to use it. I usually do it for about 4 hours just to be safe.
It does have a tendency to kick some things around due to its brush only action, but it still works decently well and is better than walking around with a dustpan and broom. The battery is NiMH, meaning it will wear out sooner than later, just like LiPo batteries. As long as debris is thrown into a pan, rotating brushes on all four sides can reach the edges very well and help clear it.
As you can see she loves it, and I bought it for her when she went to college. Whenever I need to clean up a small spill, I use an elder product from the same brand which is convenient for me to use instead of pulling out the big guns. It works really well Remember that you need to empty it very often.
The convenience is great. Using a sweeper instead of a vacuum cleaner is a fantastic solution to cleaning up - a great alternative to vacuuming In addition to getting under most furniture and chairs without a cord getting in the way, we can reach underneath most TVs. It is very nice to have this battery operated swivel sweeper.
Last night I got this product (the Swiffer Sweeper) in the mail. was instructed to charge the batteries for eight hours, and I followed the instructions by timing it as instructed. I timed it because both the instructions and reviews indicated it was important. My next step was to give it a try. I like to think of it as a broom with a dustpan attached to it. There is no suction on this machine, it sweeps stuff and puts it into the little tray. It will not behave like a vacuum, so you should not expect it to. My aunt's motion was already familiar to me, since she had shown it to me before. It is not the same model, as she uses an older model. It is very convenient to empty the tray on hers by simply releasing the two tabs that release it from a hinged side, and after shredding out anything you must do is push the tabs back in place and you're good I just bought a product that lets the whole tray drop into the trash, where you have to fish it out, turn it over, and empty the contents, then aim it back and push it close to the opening to lock it in It states on how to do it that you need to put it flat on the floor, squeeze the release tabs, remove the sweeper, pick up the tray, empty it, place it back on the floor, and then push down until you hear a click as it goes I attribute many of my bad feelings to the lack of ease and convenience in emptying. I then ran it around my kitchen a couple of times. There is a lot of cat hair and dust bunnies in my house due to my three cats. A sweeper did an excellent job of picking up the debris. There was one positive item on my list. I decided to delete it before moving in the next direction. It was mostly cat hair that had been wound around various brushes and shafts. While I was able to get the stuff out with the seam ripper they provided, the process did not come quickly or easily. I believe there is no suction to direct the hair so that it wraps around. This is a negative for me. As I finished up, I went to the bathroom and cleaned the litterbox. With three cats, I had another problem. This is my experience using clumping litter which has a finer grain than standard litter, so I am reporting the results from the finer grit, not the heavier standard grit. I was able to pick it up without any trouble. It was a positive on my list. However, before I got it running around the whole bathroom and the master walk-in closet, it slowed almost to a halt. After cleaning out the battery again and letting it sit for a while, it was back to normal. I originally thought it was the battery malfunctioning. There is a possibility that I will have to stop halfway through to empty the tray. Although three cats sounds like a lot, I find that to be a bit too few. This is a negative on my list. Perhaps it wouldn't be as large of a deal if emptying the trash container was easy and convenient. It is frustrating to keep trying to figure out that tray. The cat hair remained in there after I emptied it, so I had to use the seam ripper tool to remove As a whole, I would suggest the sweeper to someone who has hard floors, not a lot of animal hair to deal with, don't mind fishing in the trash can to retrieve the broom tray, and have not much dirt/hair/litter crumbs to clean The following is an update after about 6 months of There is no way to charge the battery. While reading the information on the batteries and how charging them too soon or too long would shorten their life, I wanted to make sure it lasted. I let it run out each time before charging it and charged it for seven hours each time. the instructions stated six hours for charging. It won't hold a charge even if I set it to 8 hours in the middle. I timed it all, every time. I feel like I've been ripped off. After using this unit, my opinion is that it is not worth your money unless you don't mind buying a new I think that this may be a deliberate move on the manufacturer's part to ensure a continuing revenue stream, given that batteries on other types of devices are expected to last longer than 6 months.
The third one that I've done so far. The first one I bought was good, so I bought another one for the other. It appeared that one of the batteries would die soon, so I bought a new battery ($17) some time There was nothing edible in it. I would go for half speed for about five minutes. Since I've used them for at least five years, I'm more than familiar with what they should sound like. In place of buying another battery, I purchased the entire unit, and - surprise! - it works! I'm pleased with how it works! a new battery in a machine, and it is only working half as fast as it did before. I have clean the machine, but it appears that it is just old and the new battery won't solve the problem. My "bad" new battery was charged, and I put it in my new one, and guess what? That one worked too! There is nothing wrong with the "bad" battery. As a result, I must now use these up to see if my old charger is also worn out. Nevertheless, I am happy with my new charger. My old sweeper will now have to be retired since I have two working batteries now. The truth is, I just feel worn out. These things are still dear to my heart, I'd like to pick this up quick.
