It hasn't been a chance to test them yet (will let you know when I get a chance), but the quality seems a little questionable compared to the originals. Even so, they are the perfect size, and extremely durable. I am not concerned with the basic pads, but I am concerned with the grey ridges in the "tough" pads, which are not made from the rubbery material that exists in the originals. This could be compared to steel wool (as best as I can describe the texture) rather than rubber, which I found strange. Though they would not cause any damage, they are likely to be less effective than the originals. All in all, it is okay for the price. I'd expect they will clean my floor. EDIT
It was great to finally put them to use In the context, my floors were very dirty (I have two toddlers, so you can attest to that). I found these to be very effective. The impression I got was genuine. My attention would have been drawn to the difference, had I not been aware they were not manufacturers. The cleaners were no worse than OEM in terms of cleaning quality. The following is an edited version The clothes were well-suited for the washer and were easy to clean.
However, ordering from Bissell was a nightmare. I had trouble understanding overseas sales people as well as orders that took forever to complete, which were later deleted from his system and I was informed when it took two months. I saw one source that claimed an after market product I was to purchase would work for my steam cleaner but it turned out that it did not fit the model number. I was able to find pads that arrived quickly, fit perfectly and were more economical than any others I had come across. Their fit is good and they are functional.
The items appear to be sturdy and are likely to last for a very long.
I wanted more mop pads for our Bissell to replace frequently, this is the right amount, doesn't shrink in the wash, and is able to clean.
I only have to wash the pads a few times and they look like they are not washed at all. It makes me a little nervous to steam a floor with what looks like a dirty pad on it. The bleach is not supposed to be used on these. It is doubtful that would even get rid of There is a need for improvement.
Exactly what I wanted! With a tab, you can easily remove it. I've had no problems with them so far. The scent pad is stored in a pocket. My mop came with just as good a rag as these ones! We later ordered a cheaper cover, but really wish we had ordered more of these initially.
Since I purchased the Bissel Steamer, I have only used it once and as of yet do not regret the purchase. It was easy to use and I could feel how clean my tile floors were in my bare feet. There are no smudges on the glass. There are no more paw prints on my dog. It is great. I would advise others to get this instead of the Swifter because the pads are very expensive and they dry out.
I am very happy with my purchase. It works well and is a great price. This fit my needs perfectly, since I needed a replacement cap and new pads as.
