Thanks for contacting Karcher and we are glad to answer You can easily replace the decalcification cartridge on the SC 3 EasyFix. The indicator light on the SC 3 EasyFix will show you that it has reached the end of its life and remain lit until you replace it. You will need to know the level of water hardness in your area to answer your question. As an example, if you have a water hardness level of 5 dH, one cartridge will last you around 75 hours however, if you have a water hardness level of 20 dH, you will need to replace your cartridge after around 30 hours.
