I have been looking for the best hard floor and carpet cleaner combo so far, but have not yet found one. My experience with all of the reasonably priced consumer models was negative- I returned three of them We each have our own reasons for doing so. I like the Koblenz because it is a solid machine and quite easy to assemble. It has good scrub brushes as well as carpet brushes. Using this method, I have tried it both on the carpet and kitchen floors. To begin, I scrubbed the carpet using the scrubbers and carpet cleaning solution provided by them. The solution holder was full when I started cleaning, and the trigger was pulled to release liquid as I thought it was necessary to do so. As I moved the carpet cleaner around the carpet for about 10 minutes, I looked down and saw the entire canister of cleaning solution had been consumed. The carpet I was cleaning was an oriental carpet, so when I had finished cleaning it, I didn't realize how wet my carpet was until the spray and release mechanism failed, dumping all the liquid underneath my carpet and soaking it. Quite a bit of it got blotted up with a tissue. It was effective in terms of drying and looking a lot cleaner, but not as I had anticipated. After a few attempts to fix the mechanism, I switched scrubbers and cleaners to hard floor cleaning so that I could clean my kitchen floor but, once again, after 10 minutes of scrubbing the tile floor, the entire canister of cleaning fluid leaked onto the Scrub brushes, easy assembly and use, and the light "floating" action of the machine when on are some of the things that set this machine apart. There was a considerable amount of dirt on the kitchen tiles and carpet. There is no way to soak up the water from the tile floor after scrubbing, so afterward one has to mop. Too much work! Besides the machine arriving broken, another issue is that there is no way to suck up the water after scrubbing. The machine I'm using does a decent job at cleaning water, but I would like one with a separate canister for dirty water. While I tried the models that claim to do this, they sucked as I cleaned, which didn't allow sufficient water to go on to the floor to do the job. It would be better for a machine to scrub first, and then activate a mechanism that will.

This was received just now and I was very Had plenty of weight and wasn't flimsy, so the job could be done without bearing down on it. A pressure was not applied to it for a brief period of time, and quickly it started making a rattling sound after being turned off and slowed The manufacturer needs to correct these problems before it has a favorable rating, so be sure to wait until better reviews begin appearing. It worked GREAT! My carpets and floors were so much cleaner with both pads, and the scrubbing action was so much more effective than trying to do it by hand. I would recommend this product to anyone who has heavy duty carpets or floors to clean.
My entire home is tiled in old satillo tiles and the scrubber did a great job. It was easier for me to use a mop bucket and mop to slosh water on the tile, scrub it, and mop it clean than the water dispenser.
As much as I would like to give a 0, I cannot. THIS IS A POOR PRODUCT! DO NOT BUY IT! No one of the two worked for me after I bought them. Initially, I bought the first one and it didn't come together. So I bought the second one to make it work. The package was damaged upon arrival. There will be no action taken by Amazon. That's why I am not stuck with two cleaners and over $300 in expenses, neither of which work!.
