This product is terribly inferior to the version that costs basically half the price. I don't normally provide reviews, but I had to caution against this one as well. The mop cost over $110 more than the older, smaller iRobot mop. I therefore assumed the new mop would be better because this one is larger. We had used the Scooba for more than seven years until it finally died. We did not realize that iRobot no longer makes that particular line of products. There's no real point in the Braava, which is basically a robot If your floor is already clean but you want it touched up routinely, don't feel afraid to do it If that's the case, then this probably works. The kitchen layout also appears to matter if your kitchen is rectangular. The table is not present. If you're like us with young kids and crumbs everywhere, a kitchen table with booster seats, and an island that does not agree with our navigation system, then this mop may not be a suitable solution. Using the Scooba, crumbs would be vacuumed, a solution sprayed, a brush scrub used, then the area would be suctioned and vacuumed again. It is also difficult to wipe off the dirty water with a wet mop cloth and that's where Braava fails to match a standard mop cloth.
