This machine doesn't seem to move in a clockwise direction, does it? Surely all the mastic removal drivers in the internet are ccw drivers? What are the chances of this working?

The answer is yes. This purchase, though, has been a good one for me. I highly recommend this machine for floors of all kinds. It does a superb job

Is there a carpet brush you can use with ?

On Amazon you can find both a wire brush and a nylon brush for this machine.

Those without much upper body strength might find the spin unwieldy at first it will easily get away from you, but once you get the hang of it and use your hips to position it, it's easily done Though the trigger system could be better designed, you'll find a way to use it. There's no doubt that this is heavy duty and intended for commercial use. It was used on a large project to etch concrete before epoxy enameling using Diamabrush concrete etching.
