Yes. My son has a strong odor sensitivity, and he claims that this is too strong for him. Aside from that, it's a good, efficient cleaner.

Leave on carpet for 15 or 30 minutes, according to the directions. Is there any risk of the carpet becoming damaged if it is left on for an extended period of time, such as all day, before vacuuming?

It's just a powder; I've had it for over a week on the black carpet in my car and a few days on the white multi-carpet in the house. You should be fine as long as you vacuum thoroughly; I haven't noticed any damage to my belongings or the area where it was applied.

Has anyone tried it to get rid of the odor of old cigarette smoke?

Yes. I had two recliners left in my cottage when I bought it, but the previous owner was a heavy smoker. I massaged the recliners well and vacuumed after they told you, and it worked perfectly. My daughter-in-law used to complain about how bad they smelled, but now she is pleased.br>

Has anyone tried it with a Dyson vacuum cleaner? I'm curious as to whether it clogs a Dyson. Thanks! ?

I vacuumed the couch and chairs with a regular vacuum cleaner, which had no clogging issues. In fact, I'm not sure it picked up more than 10 of the powder I used. It essentially picked up loose powder that hadn't been absorbed by the material. There isn't much.

NO, like, never again

As I got closer to the mailbox, I could smell the three containers of this. At first, I thought this was going to be fantastic. I sprinkled the first few sprinkles on my carpets and was blown away by how strong the scent was, until my nose, lungs, and eyes started to burn. The odor had a noticeable impact on my two small dogs as well. It's simply far too strong. Then I discover that all of my vacuum's filters are clogged with this white dusty mess, reducing suction to nearly nothing. It took a good 20 minutes of cleaning to get it back to a semblance of normalcy. When you add pet hair to the mix, you've got a complete disaster on your hands. It's amazing that the vacuum motor didn't burn out. For me, this product is not a viable option. There will be no more. I don't usually write reviews, but this irritated me to no end. It's right here.

It was extremely strong and gave me a headache for two days

Wow! This is not for you if you are allergic to scents. It has a HEAVY scent to it. I don't believe it actually eliminates odors; rather, it masks them with a strong perfume-like floral fragrance. It lasted two days and gave me a headache from the moment I strewn it on the carpet. I vacuumed twice and then had to shake out my vacuum filters before vacuuming once more. On the second day, I left my windows open.

The Giant Spider has given his approval! Laying carpet in my hollow was the worst mistake I've ever made as a giant spider living in the Forbidden Forest

We're in the UK, where it rains almost every day, and I have 10,000 spiderling kids with no manners. They run outside in the rain, climb trees, ensnare their foes, and then return to the hollow, all self-sufficient. satisfied, dragging dirt, mud, and who knows what else across the carpet They simply dig their tiny, pointed feet into the carpet. It irritates me a lot. I've used this several times to help deodorize the carpet and bring a fresh scent into my hollow, albeit for a short period of time. If you have 10,000 kids who never learned to wipe their feet before entering the hollow, this is something you should consider.

I only had to pay one dollar. My local supermarket sells it for 87 cents. Before placing an order, everyone should check with their local shop.

This product is amazing; I sprinkle it on my rugs a few minutes before vacuuming and it works like a charm! Because I have pets and children, odor removal is a must, and this product fulfills that need. You can smell it for about two weeks after using it, after which I sprinkle it on my rugs once more. It has a wonderful aroma!.

I'm not sure if you've noticed, but I'm responsible for cleaning the carpets. The easiest find to deal with was tracking in unseen particles from the sidewalk. The scent was eliminated by this powder. I sprinkled, waited a few minutes, and then vacuumed everything up. It looks a lot better.

I was able to eliminate the stench of puke

Due to my two-year-old, I had a puke odor in my living room. We scrubbed and vacuumed, but the odor persisted. I bought so many products and washed everything in sight, and then I had guests who said they smelled something but couldn't identify it. I was sure the smell was gone by then, but some sort of odor lingered, so I used Arm & Hammer. My house is finally smelling great, thanks to Hammer.

The scent was OUT OF THIS WORLD. It was never removed from the shipping envelope by me. It was impossible for me to keep it inside. It spent the night outside the front door before hitting the dumpster to help with the odor of a landfill.
